Review on service for First-time DUI LA County - City of Long Beach I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Anthony Arzili and his assistant, Alicia, during the very unfortunate circumstance I found myself in earlier this year in May. I had the added challenge of having refused the Breathalyz...er test at the time of my arrest and therefore submitted to a blood test. A blood test, that leaves you facing an impending court date with not even knowing the results of your blood test by the time of our first court date. This left me vary concerned and the night of my release, I began searching for the best lawyer to take my very unique case. Having researched as much as I could, I found that I really wanted to find a lawyer that was specific to the LA County and knew that special system and the people that worked in it. I was able to meet with three lawyers the next day and Anthony was one of them. Anthony and Alicia were very welcoming and accommodating to my schedule to see me. This was different from the other two lawyers that I had met with. During my meet with Anthony, he was very straightforward and did not make any promises. This was something that I was expecting and only got from him. It is hard to make promises without knowing the BAC one has at the time of arrest. I decided that after reviewing all of the potential outcomes of the situation, the many questions that I had about every part of the process (first court date, working with the DA, the DMV hearing, getting my license back after the verdict) and the costs associated with obtaining his counsel, Anthony was the prime choice for me. From keeping me updated on his progress with working with the DA, to making payments arrangements with Alicia and exchanging questions, Anthony was informative, details and responsiveness. I had never had to seek the counsel of a legal service provider before, so I was unsure on what to expect in terms of communication from them. I know that I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and I will be honest in that my expectation was to getting updates everyday, but in reality, those expectations are unrealistic. I had even expressed to Anthony that my anxiety was high and he had very sympathetic words and always kept things straightforward. Having a lawyer like this helped me keep my feet on the ground and my mind in order. Which I am sure that many in this situation, can relate to experiencing. Looking back on the experience with Anthony, I see that I got more than what I asked for. On our last day to meet, the final court date, Anthony showed up on time and really helped to take the reigns in the courtroom. He was calm and his demeanor really helped me stay positive and keep my nerves down. He assured me that he would be there to make the next appearance to show I was doing what the court asked, so that I did not have to miss work. This was very helpful. I intend to keep Anthony a part of this case to help me see it expunged from my record for good, in due time. If you want a lawyer that is going to keep it real, know the answers to literally ALL of your questions (I had a million, I promise you), and have a great support team like Alicia (it is just Anthony and Alicia that work for you!), then I definitely recommend Anthony. You get personal service and will be employing someone who knows the LA County system like nobody else could. He is a great person and helped me tremendously through this tough time in my life. i highly recommend Mr. Arzili and Ms. Walters when looking for legal representation! They helped me get a possible second DUI rejected. They also worked with me in terms of a payment plan, which really helped. They have a very non-judgmental, laid-back atmosphere in their office. Mr. Arzili and M...s. I had two cases to deal with. One was a 2nd DUI charge in LA and another was a violation of my probation case in Fullerton. I found Mr. Arzili on this website, AVVO, and after reading the reviews and searching him online I decided to meet with him and I was pleased when we met in person. Very nice, d...own to earth, easy to talk to type of guy. Does not feel like you are talking to a lawyer (who usually are not the kindest people). He also did not sugarcoat or promise me anything and told me the straight truth about my case and the outcome. What I liked most about Mr. Arzili was his professionalism and reliability. If I ever had any questions, a small or big question, and I had a lot of questions cause I like to understand fully what is going on. I would email him and he would get back to me within 1hr-3hrs. Alicia his secretary was also very nice too and got back to me quickly with answers to questions as well. He also worked with me on my my payments and helped me find a bailsbondman, Marco, who was also very nice. And Steve in orange county helped me with my Fullerton probation case, and I got probation for that case no jail time. The LA DUI case went from a month in county jail to four days in county jail. Regrettably, ive been in the system before and know the need to have not only a knowledgable attorney but one who is charismatic and understanding of your plight. Being from out of state i got a DUI on my motorcycle and needed an attorney that would FIGHT FOR ME in my absence. I have used the services of Mr. Arzili twice and both times I was looking at serious jail time. One was a drug offense and Mr. Arzili negotiated with the court to get me drug classes. Unfortunately, through my own fault, I did not attend the classes as I should have and therefore violated the court... order. I recently had to reappear at the same court and was probably looking at some serious jail time because of my violation but Mr. Arzili worked his "magic" and I will be reinstated and will be able to complete the drug classes. In another incident I was falsely accused of a crime that was a serious felony. Mr. Arzili was able to get the District Attorney to drop the case. All through these incidents, Mr. Arzili showed compassion and caring for not only me but for my family , as well, who had to bear the financial burden. He allowed us to make payments that were manageable to my family and even lowered his fees substantially for us. He is the type of lawyer you want to have on your side when things go wrong.
