We hired Chris to draft our estate planning documents under my husband’s legal support plan at work. We selected him based on the stellar reviews on Avvo. Unfortunately, our experience with Chris was mixed. There were some positives - he is prompt with his work and seems very knowledgeable in his fie...ld. However, he was dismissive when we asked basic questions and flat out refused to clean up spelling/grammatical errors and glaring formatting issues in his documents. We got the impression that he is very busy and doesn’t have much time for his clients other than providing cookie cutter documents and processing things quickly. He didn't seem to care that these are our family documents and they are important to us. Because of this, I felt hesitant about contacting him to fix an error on a report and I ended up finding the form online and fixing it myself. Overall, the experience wasn’t as pleasant as we hoped and if we had more information, we probably would have selected a different attorney to handle our affairs.
