If you are looking for an extremely intelligent and caring attorney then I would have to suggest Lara. Unfortunately the legal community is riddled with lawyers who treat you the exact same way that a public defender treats you. Public defenders have massive case loads and they only thing they care a...bout is making a bad deal and moving on to their next case. At least the public defenders have an excuse, they are underpaid, and overwhelmed. Unfortunately you can get the same type of representation from a private attorney who collects your money and doesn’t care. Honestly there were times in my case in which if felt like Ms Yeretsian cared more than me. You don’t want a “welp, we will see what happens” you want a “screw them, Im not gonna let them get away with this” type of lawyer. That’s who she is! She personalized my case and made me feel like she was just as angry/frustrated with this abuse of system as I was. You want someone who is not just fighting for you but also right there with you. I had both a criminal case and a civil case. After hiring her for the criminal case in which she got the charges dismissed, I then hired her for the civil case in which she went to court and put the other side to shame. Outside of everything I have stated, one of the biggest qualities she has is her creativity. I promise if you hire her you will continuously have that “wow I didn’t even think of that” moment. She finds ways to use insignificant moments and evidence and twists them into a way that is beneficial to your case. Obviously I pray to never need her criminal defense services again but I will definitely be recommending her to anyone in future who needs criminal defense. As for any civil proceedings I am unsure if she takes civil cases on a regular basis but if there is LITIGATION involved then I suggest you seek her out, she’s a bull dog in the court room!
