Santo Riccobono is a passionate and zealous advocate with seven years of litigation experience in complex personal injury cases.
Santo has a deep commitment to client service and thrives on the competitive nature of litigation. This drive to compete for his clients’ rights is a value instilled in him from a very young age. When he was three years old, Santo began studying Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art. By eight years old he was was a black belt, by seventeen he was the youngest master (4th degree black belt) in the country.
In addition to martial arts, Santo excelled at football and baseball in high school. In football, he played quarterback and cornerback and was heavily recruited to play college ball. He ultimately chose Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to play football in their division I-AA program because of the school’s academic prowess. While at Cal Poly, Santo was chosen to compete academically at the American Agricultural Economics Association.
Prior to representing Plaintiffs, Santo worked at one of the largest Southern California defense firms where he litigated a variety of cases including toxic torts, catastrophic injury, general liability, and construction defect, defending Fortune 500 companies. There, Santo was a mentor to younger associates and law clerks and was a member of the recruiting committee.
Santo graduated from California Western School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Santo worked as a law clerk for a general practice firm as well as the sports agency of Steinberg, Tollner and Moon.
Santo is a member of the America Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. In addition to being a member of Consumer Attorneys of California, Santo is the Political Chair of the “New Lawyers” division of that organization.
While previously working in downtown LA, Santo co-founded the Downtown Los Angeles Bar Association and is the current Vice President of that organization.
As a plaintiffs’ attorney, Santo has obtained outstanding results while representing clients in personal injury, employment, mass tort, civil rights, medical malpractice, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and products liability cases.
