Simply the best!!

HART IS A ROCKSTAR ATTORNEY!!!! I felt compelled to write about my experience with Hart and his firm. In July I was contacted by LAPD about a possible hit and run with a car that looked like mine. I had nothing to do with it and was asked to interview with the police about the incident which I had z...ero knowledge of. There were some old scuff marks on my bumper and the officers tried to say that it was caused by this other hit and run incident they were accusing me of. I was totally panicked and freaking out. My brother in law works for the LA County sheriff's department and I went to him for help. He told me to call Hart because he's referred a bunch of people to him in the past and he is really great. I called Hart and he made me feel much better. He was really calming and told me the best way to go about fixing this situation. I told him I was innocent and I'm an professional and I can't have anything like this on my record. He told me not to worry and that he knows exactly what to do. So he had a private investigator find evidence that the damage to my bumper was more than a year old. Hart had the the investigator order surveillance video from a bank that was on the corner of Sepulveda near where the incident supposedly took place. The bank didn't even want to provide the video but Hart contacted the branch manager and by the time the conversation was over he was given access to the surveillance tapes. The tapes showed that it was a car similar to mine but had a license plate that was 2 digits off. He turned over the info the the LAPD and the entire case was dropped. They even apologized to me about the misunderstaning and said your lawyer did excellent work. I believe I got the best result but I'm also really appreciative of his team. Alison worked with me on a payment plan which made it totally affordable and gave me several months to pay the balance. Hart and his team were really responsive whenever I had any questions. I doubt I'll need his help again but if I do, I know who to call. They are the absolute best!

Highly Recommended

I engaged Hart for a cycling while impaired charge. It was a fairly ridiculous situation, and every lawyer I consulted with told me as much, but as a professional who needs to maintain a spotless record I was nonetheless freaking out. I wanted to ensure that my choice of attorney would maximize my ch...ances of a dismissal or the equivalent. Hart was extremely responsive (all emails answered within hours) and represented me for a fair price. Most importantly, he succeeded in getting the prosecutor to decline to prosecute. When I heard the news I let out a huge sigh of relief - one that I'd been holding the whole time. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Matthew Cohen of Hart Levin

I was arrested for DUI back in February, and the very next morning I called Hart Levin's office. I honestly didn't look at a single other attorney, because everyone on yelp said they were the best. Hands down, BEST decision ever. They hooked me up with a great attorney named Matthew Cohen. The...y got my charge reduced to a Wet & Reckless, my court fines were lowered, and I avoided getting an IID (interlock device). In my AB451 class (dmv/court required) everyone was talking about how crap their lawyers were. How they overcharged their clients and produced ZERO results. How they'd be better off representing themselves. I told them to call Matthew, and I'm telling you the same thing. DO IT! Trust me.

Hart is the BEST!!!!

This was my first offense and I really didn't know what to do, I was released from jail at 7 am, turned on my phone and began searching for an attorney. Avvo came up on my search and Hart had the best recommendations, I called the number and he answered the phone! He gave me some advice and by 8 am I... retained his services. Hart and Jill were easy to communicate with and put me at ease. My case had speed enhancements at I was looking at jail time, Hart got me wet and wreckless with no breathilizer a small fine and community service. If you need an attorney that will fight for you, Hart is your man! If you just got out and are unsure what to do just call him! You won't be disappointed!

Amazing!

After getting my third DUI (first in 10 years), I was scared to death at what the consequences would be. I feared doing serious jail time, countless hours of community service, $10's of thousands of dollars in fine's...I had no idea. I found Hart Levin here on Yelp, and must say I was a little skepti...cal at first because there were nothing but 5-star, rave reviews. Well my case was finally settled this week, and there's a reason for the stellar reviews (Yelp is not hiding any negative ones at the bottom...please trust me on this because I can't fathom that any exist)! With Hart and his team representing me, I am 100% confident that I could not possibly have gotten a more favorable outcome. From beginning to end (roughly a 1 year process), they were always available, responded to my questions promptly and they essentially handled everything for me...there was minimal work required by me. This could have been a very devastating, life-changing event for me. From the bottom of my heart I can't thank Hart and Jill enough for making this turn out the way that it did. I did no jail time, no community service(!) and the fines where half of what I'd expected. Simply amazing. You can NOT do better than Hart Levin representing you!
