Do Not Hire This Attorney

Jeremy, is a bright Attorney however his desire for $$ led us to settle far too quickly in our case...had we fought the case a little longer and Jeremy put forth a more concentrated effort in finding the facts the damages created to me and my family could have been greatly reduced or avoided all toge...ther. Jeremy was quick to take my $$ and slow to perform. As a result a negative outcome was reached, my family suffered greatly and my life savings has been squandered! ***Please Do not Hire this Attorney***

While this client chose to author this review anonymously, it's my understanding that this pertains to a case I passionately fought for over 4 years that was just recently resolved. This client was charged with 2 separate charges that each required mandatory sex registration for life. The D.A. would not make any offer that did not include lifetime sex registration. As a result, we went to trial. We beat one of the 2 charges at trial and lost the other. The second charge was later overturned on appeal, based on legal arguments I outlined in a motion for a new trial. The client then retained me a second time to continue fighting this case for him. After about 2 more years of filing motions and fighting the case, the D.A. finally agreed to a misdemeanor charge with no sex registration, no jail, no classes and no community service. The client was even permitted as part of the agreement to report to probation over the phone as opposed to in person. On top of all this, the client's case was located at a courthouse 3 1/2 hours from my home. Far enough away that I often stayed in a hotel the night before the court appearances (and there were many). Despite this, I never charged the client for travel time or hotel expenses. I know my client's preference would have been a complete dismissal, and he was very disappointed that never happened. I share in that disappointment. I truly tried. Unfortunately, that was simply never an option the D.A. or judge would agree to. I was ready and willing to do a second jury trial, but this option was something the client simply didn't want to do. I am saddened that my client ended up not being satisfied with the work my office provided. I always want my clients to understand the care, passion and effort I put into their case. However, I am extremely proud of the work I did for this client, and the end result we achieved was exceptional. My hope is that at some point in the future this client will understand the quality of the work my office provided. In the meantime, if he ever wishes to discuss this further offline, I'd be happy to do it.
