Wow, not really sure where to start. I thank my lucky stars every day that I was fortunate enough to find John when I needed an attorney. Is he a great lawyer....you betcha! But whats even better is that he's just a great guy! In 2011 I moved I to Los Angeles from Detroit. I was not working, staying with friends, and had no health insurance. I had been in the USA about a year Two weeks after I arrived to LA I was rear ended on the Ventura Freeway by an uninsured motorist from El Salvador. I sustained injuries and approximately $6000 in damage to the car I had had less than a year. The only mileage on it really was from the drive from Detroit to LA. Long story short Michigan is a no-fault state and their insurance laws are a 180 degrees different from California's. AAA my insurer John sued for negotiating in bad faith. Anyways John navigated the two-state difference in law, got me the medical attention I needed, GOT ME LOST WAGES when I wasnt even employed and then got me the MAXIMUM SETTLEMENT allowed under my uninsured motorist coverage. Meanwhile the whole time John kept me in the loop, worked like a pit-bull, took a genuine concern that I was receiving the best medical attention, and sought to get me the best settlement possible. John has the ability to listen, never waffles when asked direct questions, and IS ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE. If there was a way to make it better it eludes me??? I can't stress enough that if you need legal assistance John is your guy!! I'd give him 6 Stars if it was possible!!!!

I few months ago I made a huge mistake. I saw the way Mr. Jahrmarkt intelligently answered questions from other people on the site and decided he would be the best fit for my case. He reviewed my case for free without any sort of pressure. Since my case was not really win-able, I will say great things regardless about this lawyer. I used John for a car accident case that I was in. It was really great in explaining everything and was able to negotiate a decent settlement. It was kind of a small case so we didn't get a lot of money but I really felt he worked hard. There were two other people in the car at the time of the accident. John also represented them and they seemed pretty happy with him also. I recommend him.

John handled a slip and fall case for me. I fell at my apartment building and the landlord was not doing anything about it. I'm lucky I found John because he filed a lawsuit really worked the case hard. He did depositions. He had an expert visit the scene and do an inspection. The expert was really good and found code violations. We ended up settling the case for a lot of money and I'm very happy with John as my attorney.

John handles contract and employment work for me in CA, brings a common sense approach here along with strong knowledge of the law. Cuts to the chase, and is able to make make good recommendations on how to proceed, as opposed to other lawyers I've worked with in the past who tended to drop things back in my lap which defeated the purpose of hiring a lawyer. IE, John doesn't waste my time. When I have other legal needs, such as placing a recent bankruptcy claim in LA, he's got competent lawyers who are specialists in his circle that he can point me to.
