Mr. Groin saved me from a 9 year prison sentence

I was convicted by a jury for kidnapping and criminal threats and was facing 9 years in prison. After the conviction, I retained Mr. Gorin's law firm for the sentencing phase of my trial. He raised numerous objections to the law and factual errors in the trial, and argued aggressively on my behalf. A...fter an exhausting 3 months, the judge gave me probation and time served with NO prison time! Mr. Gorin was outstanding and his knowledge of the law was impressive. I really liked how he always kept me updated on the status of my case. I highly recommend Mr. Gorin and his legal staff. Thank you!

Mr. Gorin and his legal team were able to have my case dismissed which gave me my life back.

Mr. Dmitry Gorin, what can I say...He gave me my life back. I really liked how Mr. Gorin and his legal team paid extreme attention to detail and had me as their client well informed, of my rights, my best move as their client, and their overall concern for me, not only as their client but also and a... human being that may have made a mistake in life. My case was on the east Coast and they did not hesitate to represent me. They did not pass me off to some attorney in that district. They were there with me every step of the way. As a result, my case was dropped and dismissed!!! These attorneys are extremely well versed in the law and had a great plan for my best results, and it was carried out. We achieved our desired outcome, full dismissal. I feel like not only did I have a firm that protected me and rights but I made a few friends. And, the friendships will remain long after this case has been forgotten about.

Felony to Misdemeanor to Dismissed

After the police charged me with a felony, I turned to Dmitry Gorin for help, hiring him both for pre-filing and post-filing services. I chose Dmitry Gorin for his experience in the DA office and excellent reputation online. And I made the right choice. As a result of his work and work of his associa...tes the case was filed by the DA not as a felony but as a misdemeanor, and after a while altogether dropped. No criminal record for me. The case was tough, I didn't expect that good of a result. I am not a US resident and thanks to Dmitry Gorin me and my family will not lose the opportunity to visit the US in the future.

Look No Farther

The felony case against my son had zero merit, but that was no comfort. He was looking at seven years in state prison if his day in court went badly. Even with the best attorney, there are no guarantees. So who do you want at such a time? There are many smart lawyers out there who know the law. ...But, perhaps, more important is knowledge of the courts where the case must be made: the judges, the DA staff, the culture, the processes. I spoke to four or five attorneys before getting to Eisner & Gorin. Martindale-Hubbell put them in the top 5%. I spoke to Alan on the phone and Dmitry in the office and learned that they work as a team. You get them both. They were realistic about the possibilities, should we end up at trial. They analyzed the case for and against my son, so we could understand the risks. It was clear why they were in the top 5%. Early on, when both were too busy to see us during the normal work week, they carved out time on a Sunday. Dmitry presented the entire case, with witnesses, at the preliminary hearing. The district attorney’s office steadfastly refused to consider a deal, in spite of the evidence. All indications were that we were headed to trial. But finally, before that happened, the assigned trial judge reviewed the evidence presented months earlier. That hard work early on paid off. The judge essentially threw the case out. If you want experts in the people and processes of the Los Angeles criminal court system - the best representation - look no farther.

This attorney is the real deal! Honest and hard working...with a brillant understanding of the law. He saved my son.

Mr. Gorin is a wonderful human being and an excellent attorney. I would give him a 10 star review if it was allowed. My husband and I worked with Dmitry and his firm for a year preparing to defend my 27 year old son from a felony assault charge. The District Attorney wanted to put my son in prison fo...r 2 years. This so called assault occurred in a hospital setting, and the witnesses and the victim were protected by HIPPA and other privacy laws. My son was innocent, but the evidence was extremely hard to obtain. Mr. Gorin's amazing understanding of our legal system was necessary to fight this case. We spent an entire year gathering permission to interview witnesses, putting together the actual events of this case and fighting to save my son. During this year, and dozens of conversations, emails and phone calls, Dmitry always was quick to respond to my questions and return my calls or emails. He was so on top of this case that I felt that I had a real partner in the fight to prove my son's innocence.I ALWAYS felt that I was in excellent hands when Dmitry put his mind to our case. His past experience as a prosecuter, prior to becoming a private defense attorney, was also very helpful in his understanding of how "The other side" thinks." Watching as Mr. Gorin appeared before the judge and questioned witnesses was like watching a a very talented athlete run very successful plays on a court or field.He is a winner...and a definite MVP.
