Experienced, Clear, Effective: Divorce, Family Law, Premarital and Marital Agreements
Whether I’m working on a case with complex business issues and assets of $25,000,000, or a less complex case with assets of $2,000,000, the attention required is the same. As a Family Law attorney since 1987, I help people through the divorce process with the close attention, legal expertise and support they need. I encourage cooperation between spouses/partners whenever possible, keeping the ultimate goals of resolving the issues between them and helping them prepare for the next part of their life at the forefront. This may occur through litigation, where both spouses are represented by an attorney, and may or may not involve court hearings. Or, it may occur through mediation, where I represent neither party, but help both craft an agreement that works for both of them. My background as a Marriage and Family Therapist is helpful in all situations.
In addition to divorce work, I draft and negotiate premarital, post-marital and cohabitation agreements.
On a personal note, I currently have 2 dogs and a cat, and ride horseback. I've had a great interest in medieval Tuscan art, since attending school in Florence, Italy, as part of my senior year in college.

Nicholas Salick, Mediation Attorney on Feb 20, 2016
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I cannot more highly endorse Diane. Her approach to mediation is unique in that she is knowledgeable, compassionate, firm and detail-oriented. Diane and I have worked on a few cases over the years, and often confer with one another about complex procedural and substantive family law issues. I have referred her potential clients in the past and won't hesitate to continue doing so.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I have known Diane for many years, and I enthusiastically endorse her skills in family law. We worked together on a case recently. She drafted the settlement agreement and it was beautifully done. Not only that, but she was a joy to work with.
