Brain, is a great lawyer and I hired him. When I contacted Brian, I was freaked out, I had a traffic citation 36 CFR 4.22 (b) (1) - 'operating a vehicle without due care', in a National park, but as federal laws go it was a misdemeanor. First thing he did was calm me down by reassuring that the case is in good hands. Brian does not try to sugar coat the situation, he gives it to you straight. He took care of all the court paper work, I did not even notice that I had a court case, he drove three hours to the court house and handled the whole thing like a pro. In the end when I was expecting the case to be toned down to a infraction and a fine, he got it dismissed !! Best money I've ever spent on a lawyer. For all those interested in a lawyer who actually responds quickly to your contact, Brian is the one. Text, email or call, he will respond back in under two hours, sometimes in minutes.

Attorney Michaels represented my husband in 4 different gang cases in Los Angeles. Over the course of a year Mr. Michaels worked hard to get my husband home to his family. If he was convicted he would have spent 24 years in jail. Through his contacts with the District Attorney he was able to get 3 cases dismissed and my husband will be getting out on time served. We could not be happier with the selection of Brian Michaels. He saved our family from losing there Dad.

Our case was extremely difficult, and we wanted the best, but expected the worst. Our main concern was avoiding jail time, as there was a minor accident in addition to a DUI charge. There were circumstances surrounding this situation, that did not make this a straight case, and Brian was great at making sure we approached this from every possible angle. Though it was the first offense, we were able to get accepted into a program which will allow the case to be dismissed. I can only attribute the success to Brian's experience, knowledge, and presence in the LA court scene. I'm forever thankful for him representing us, and getting the best possible outcome considering the circumstances. Brian was clear in communicating the best and worst case scenarios, and kept us realistic in what to expect. He really went above and beyond for us in terms of outcome, so we couldn't be happier.

My search for a criminal defense attorney began when my son was arrested twice in one week for repeat of felony charges. They will result in 2 strikes. He is in "big trouble" and he is a young man facing his life in prison.
I spent hours reading the bio's of the candidates I selected, checking into their education and client ratings. Brian consistently kept coming up at the top and always 10 out of 10 client satisfaction.
I contacted him on this web page, got a call back the very same afternoon from him personally. Within the first hour, he pulled my sons charges and reviewed them with me, letting me know from the very beginning that they were of a very serious nature and would be difficult at best.
Brian did not promise miracles, he talked with me ( for an hour and a half) on his own time, no up front fee's or even discussion of the cost involved to retain him.
I was convinced of his knowledge of the law, his compassion for helping other people but, "most of all' listening and hearing what I had to say and my very real concerns.
In 15 days, I have had daily contact with him. We've exchanged phone calls, e-mails and to date 138 texts.
My complete confidence in his ability to represent my son with the best possible outcome has filled my heart with peace. If you are a parent reading this, you understand the value of having the inner calm that comes from knowing that you have done your very best.
It is my honor to recommend with the most heartfelt and highest regard; Brian Russell Michaels!

Mr. Michaels did a wonderful job on behalf of our son, who was arrested during the Coachella music festival and charged with felony resisting arrest. Mr. Michaels worked with us to present extenuating personal health circumstances in a conscientious and compassionate manner. He advocated passionately on our son's behalf, ultimately removing the felony (after a probationary period). We could not have been more pleased with his representation, and heartily recommend Mr. Michaels should the need arise. Thank you!

Brian helped me out big time in a felony settlement case. With the help of his knowledge I have a year of probation and some other guidelines that if I follow I will have the felony dropped to a misdemeanor no questions asked. I cannot thank him enough as I'm young and didn't want that on my record. He is easy to reach tells you how it is and explains things well.

Brian Michaels is was an excellent lawyer for my traffic court case. Saved me hundreds in increased insurance premiums. Most of all, he saved me the time and hassle of going to court!
I contacted him two days before my court date, and he was able to arrange an appearance within minutes. Could not have been more pleased with his timeliness and professionalism. Will be recommending to all friends and family in the LA area!
5 star rating is well deserved!!!

I couldn't be any happier with my decision to have Brian represent me in my 1st offense DUI case. My career in the National Guard Army was on the line, and after speaking with many lawyers, I felt the most comfortable with Brian. I could sense he had a lot of knowledge and experience with this type of case. On top of that, not only did he work with me with the price, he gave me all the case facts, and never sugarcoated how difficult this case might be. I made the mistake of not reading all of my DVI papers and was unaware of having to call the DVI within 10 days for a hearing. Brian helped me just in time, and was the only lawyer who provided the idea of getting letters from my supervisor, coworkers, and close friends to prove I am a good person who made one mistake, so I would have a fighting chance with the DA. Through the entire process, Brian answered quickly through text and emails to keep me well informed. When the court date finally arrived, with the help of Brian's partner, Daniel Peebles, they were able to work a deal with the DA. The DUI was dismissed and I plead guilty to VC 21710 coasting -- with only a fine of $725 and no probation. My career was saved and I could not thank Brian and Daniel enough for it. There is no surprise why Brian ranks 10 out of 10 on Avvo with 22 client reviews; he does very well to keep up to those ranking.

Brain said his job is to keep Don (who is accused and charged for years in prison) out of jail, and for each day that Don is out of jail, he is doing his job till the case is settled. Indeed he gave strategies based in his experience and expertise and made counter measures based on calculated risks and helped Don to go to probation rather than jail time. We all appreciate his quick response to our emails and questions, his prompt on the court time in Indio, even that means he has to drive from LA to Indio in hot days. We know that we are in good hands as long as Brian is lawyer in our side.

I had a 9 year old warrant for a felony drug offence I knew nothing about until I was denied a passport and informed by the state department. I had another attorney 3 years earlier try to find any warrants but he found nothing. Brian was able to find where the warrant was from and the case information. He was able to on short notice address the issue, appear with me in court and get my case dismissed. I am happy with the service provided. Brian is a competent and excellent attorney for criminal defence. I highly recommend hiring him if you want the best possible outcome for your particular case.
