I came to Stacy because a family friend who is an immigration attorney told me if he was in immigration court, he would want Stacy Tolchin representing him. I had a complex immigration case that Stacy took on with no hesitation. Her confidence in my case made me feel like I was going to be OK every step of the way.
Every time I felt insecure or uneasy about my case, Stacy reassured me she was there for me. She was reassuring, but always honest, explaining all possible immigration consequences of the decisions I made with respect to my case. She never made me feel rushed or like she wasn't giving me her undivided attention. On top of that, she was understanding of my financial constraints and was flexible in working with me.
Even after winning my case, sh offered to continue fighting to get me some money back after all was said and done. I cannot thank Stacy enough for the difference she made in my and my family's life. I will never forget her zealous advocacy, kindness, and fearless attitude toward my case. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented immigration attorney.

I highly recommend Stacy Tolchin. She can handle the most difficult cases with patience, determination, knowledge and skill. She is highly responsive to communications and questions and makes sure you understand your case and what is in front of you. She handled our complicated case for several years and we wove our way through the INS system but we were successful, she was successful where other attorneys were not. We believe this is because she is extremely thorough.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Stacy as she has been the best immigration attorney I have ever worked with, and I have worked with multiple.
Key qualities such as compassion, intelligence, charisma, resilience and most importantly passion for her work are what makes Stacy standout amongst her peers. Additionally, these traits are also shared by her staff, specifically Yadira who worked very closely with me throughout the years.
I would definitely recommend Stacy to friends and family who ever need assistance with their immigration work. She is not only an amazing attorney, but also a wonderful human being.

Both me and my husband have filed our application with US immigration in 1996. Our case was supposely a very simple case but turn out to be very complicated due to the errors of our previous attorneys have made. We been thru court hearings and have changes 6 different attorneys during the process. It was very stressful and devastating. All other attorneys we have consulted who claimed they are specialized in the 9th circuit court cases have told us that our case was close to zero hope.
We were getting so close to give up our application until we met Stacy in 2011. She was our last hope. I remembered our 1st meeting with Stacy. She is very professional. She patiently explained and covered all the consequences that we need to know on our case. She also lead us thru every step of the progress and follow thru our case very closely. None of attorney we have hired before, take care of our case liked Stacy has. It was a long...long battle for us...19 years; when Stacy told us our case was approved and we finally received our green cards in 9/2015, it was more of a shock than joy. It's unbelieveable!!
Here I want to say again ...'”THANK YOU VERY MUCH STACY.... THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND YOUR GREAT TEAM!!”

Stacy is a perfect attorney for complicated immigration cases. I have stuck with my case for over ten years and I had hired 3 different lawyers, but none of them solved my problems until I met Stacy 4 years ago. She has handled my case step by step and very carefully until we succeeded. I just got my Green Card! So excited while waiting for it for 14 years!
Stacy is the best and highly recommended lawyer in the US. She also won on my brother's complicated case. He got his Green Card two months ago as well.

After 3 attorneys and 8 years wasted excluding thousands of dollars, we came to Stacy by referrals. To be honest, I was already tired of lawyers' empty promises and was very skeptical. But Stacy has the patience to listen, the love for solving complicated cases, and the determination to win despite the small probability. My asylum case was tied to my father who was sentenced to be departed. But my USC mother was able to petition for me as I was under 21. It took 5 years. I never thought I would get my green card and have the chance to apply to medical schools with high chances of being accepted. I'm glad my family and I found Stacy who worked on my case and my brother's (same situation) and won both of ours. Despite the many empty trips to the INS and immigration courts, Stacy never displayed a hint of annoyance and irritation with us. She was always willing to listen, lend compassion, and work harder. I truly appreciate her work and would recommend her expertise in difficult immigration case to anyone without reservation.

Attorney Tolchin was instrumental in helping us through the naturalization process. She is incredibly knowledgeable as to how the system works, yet she is truly passionate about seeing her clients treated fairly. Her thoroughness during the initial prep of the citizenship application was quite impressive. I don't think we would have had the positive results that we had without her. Can't rave enough about this attorney's effectiveness!

We were referred to Stacy Tolchin by another local attorney who told us that based on the information we provided him regarding my case, Stacy would probably be the only one that could get the desired results. How right he was! Over the almost six years we dealt with her and her associates, she never once gave up her efforts to try to help me to become a Citizen of this great Country. And, while I admit there were times when I thought this would never happen, Stacy never stopped reviewing court decisions that could positively effect effect my case and allow me to file nor naturalization. Almost to the day, five years after our initial interview, Stacy e-mailed us to give us the good news that she had found the precedent we were hoping for in a recent court decision which then allowed us to go forward with my application for naturalization. At this point Stacy really went to work to get all the documentation prepared to allow my application to be approved. She continuously followed up to insure that the Department of Homeland Security and all the other agencies involved in this process had all the required documentation. When it came time for the initial hearing she reviewed all the possible questions that could be posed with me, and even gave me a practice Citizenship Test. Because of a scheduling conflict, and since I did not want to reschedule my interview, she asigned one of her associates, Megan Brewer, to accompany me to the hearing. I immediately felt comfortable with Megan, because I knew that if she worked with Stacy, she would do and outstanding job on my behalf. Her advice during the hearing and subsequently for additional information I needed to provide, was professional and to the point. As a result of Stacy's and her diligent and capable work, I was notified that I would be sworn in as a naturalized citizen, on Flag Day, 2016.
Through this long process I found Stacy, as well as her entire staff to be extremely professional, forthright and caring to the point that all of them sent congratulatory notes when I received news. I read some of the reviews written about Stacy Tolchin, and the one thing that comes up over and over again is "....an Attorney Above and Beyond...". No truer words have ever been written, and we Thank you Stacy Tolchin.

I was referred to stacy tolchin after winning a criminal reentry case in federal court.what we thought would be an eazy N600 application for citizenship quickly turned into a nightmare. we were thrown various curveballs by the sneaky Sidewinders at the ICE and DHS offices.ICE attempted to deport me even though,I had the right to have my case reviewed by an immigration judge luckily,I had Stacy by my side. Stacy quickly moved and went to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals through her wide range of knowledge and experience in immigration law successfully got the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to Stay my order for removal.I was returned from the us-mexican border that afternoon and was placed at Adelanto Detention Center that was only the beginning of a two-year battle with ICE and the DHS. From the beginning Stacy guided me through the Labyrinth of immigration law. From the 9th circuit she got my case transferred to District Court(where I initially won the criminal reentry case) because of her knowledge and expertise of how courtrooms work she knew that would be the best route to take, I am glad to say that we are victorious over ICE and the DHS and I am now a United States citizen and she didn't have to resort to any unethical practices like ICE and the DHS did. From the beginning my case was no easy task but Stacy didn't flinch not once. Stacy is experienced, knowledgeable, professional but most important honest and caring Stacy went above and beyond for me and my family as I am sure she does for every client.

My case was very difficult from the beginning. My husband and I had exhausted every hope of trying to resolve my very complicated immigration case. We had already spent years and more than 30k with other well known lawyer firms to no avail. Then, a friend who was also a lawyer, heard about my case and suggested I meet with her personally . He said he had so much confidence in her, that if his family needed an immigration lawyer, she would be the one to call. I was doubtful she would even take my case. But after meeting her and discussing my situation she was immediately interested. The difficulty of my case was not a deterrent but a welcomed challenge! I was immediately reassured with confidence and hope. After many phone calls, letters, interviews, and personal attention from Stacy herself, we finally received good news. My case was approved! I cannot thank her and her staff enough for everything they have done for me and my family.
