AREAS OF EXPERIENCE
Mr. Mazur primary practice area is protecting the interest of secured and unsecured creditors. This includes aggressive pre-litigation strategies from securitization of assets via security agreements, liens and attachments, lis pendens, confession of judgments, consent decrees and creditor negotiations. Judicial strategies including: pre-judgment attachments, replevin, claim and delivery and deficiency judgments. Post judgment collections strategies include: writ of attachment, writ of execution, writ of garnishment and levy, till taps and receiverships.
Mr. Mazur has written and lectured extensively in the creditor's rights and collections areas, including collections in bankruptcy, collection strategies and fraudulent conveyances. Mr. Mazur has co-authored and lectured the following publications with National Business Institutes continuing legal education programs: Collections: Seeking and Collecting a Judgment ( 2009 Nat. Business Institute); and Collecting Debts: Tips and Strategies to Legally Get What You're Owed ( 2007 Nat. Business Institute) Collection Law from Start to Finish. (2005 Nat.
