I would never recommend this law firm to anyone. I hired Leah Martin to draft a simple cease and desist letter. Instead of handling it herself, she passed me off to newly graduated attorneys who kept shifting my case from one person to another. I initially contacted the firm late Friday afternoon.... The call was supposed to be a one-hour free consultation. After the call, I gave them a $900 retainer. Cease and desist letters are generally straightforward and time-sensitive, yet nothing was done promptly. Monday was a holiday — which I wasn’t informed of — and no work was done on Tuesday or Wednesday. On Thursday, I got an email saying another attorney would contact me Friday. By then, it was too late — the delay rendered the letter useless. They claimed they had done just over $300 worth of work, but there’s no way they even spent 5 minutes on my case. I have disputed the charges, but I’m still waiting to be refunded the nearly $600 they owe me. Despite multiple emails, I’ve received no response. I’ve had to open a dispute with my credit card company just to try to get my money back. This is not a professional or trustworthy law firm. I strongly caution others against using their services.
