Inaccessible by phone, dishonest reassurances, hire at your own risk!

My wife and I hired Turco and Drascovich after being quoted $7500 for their services when another firm had quoted us $12,000. We jumped at the price difference! I was facing 5 felony charges for sex crimes I did not commit. When I met Turco for the first time in Court, he asked me how much I coul...d afford for bail. I told him my wife and I don't actually have any money, but if we were to max out our credit cards, we could probably manage at max 50k, but that would completely max us out without leaving us anything to live off of. During bail discussions, the Judge made several comments to which Turco had no answers or retorts. After the DA suggested their bail amount to the Judge, Turco suggested 50k ... That was his first starting offer. No room for negotiation or anything. The Judge accepted Turco's offer and I was left slack-jawed in disbelief. He offered my absolute max as his first offer. Fortunately, Turco was just the stand-in for Robert Drascovich that day. I mean the firm is named after Drascovich, right? I had much higher expectations for Robert. Our first visit with Robert Drascovich left my wife and I feeling incredibly uneasy. He didn't want to hear a single detail about our case. He just tried to assure us that he has handled many cases like ours and we had nothing to worry about. How can you make such assurances without knowing anything about our case? Our unease only grew. We could never actually reach Drascovich on the phone himself, only relayed messages through one of his secretaries, secretaries whom never even identify themselves by name when you call, but merely answer with the two words, "Attourney's office." Drascovich suggested on our first visit that we hire a P.I. named Ken Hardy. We paid Ken Hardy $1500 who said he was doing us a favor by lowering his normal rate to $75 an hour, yet wasted the first two hours just reading my charges and the the statements against me when he met me at my apartment. I am not illiterate. I could have read all of that for myself. Long story short, Drascovich continued to reassure us that everything would be ok. He said he was confident our case would not go to District Court. Still, he never asked about any details about the case and told us there's no point in us telling him anything until it's time because he has so many other cases. The big ka-boom was dropped the day right before my pre-trial hearing. I called his secretary the day before to schedule a meeting because my pre-trial was coming up and he had still yet to even contact me to hear anything about the case. If I had not called, would my pre-trial have been arranged without even a single strategy meeting with Robert? The day RIGHT before my pre-trial, Robert told my wife and I that he had reviewed our case and there was only a one in a thousand chance that our trial is not going to District Court. This was after assuring us from the beginning that our case would most likely be settled before reaching District Court. He also said that his prices had recently increased. How convenient... I asked Robert how much to continue. He said 40 grand. I told him that much was nowhere even near the realm of what we could afford. So he asked if we had any family that could afford it... I have since asked two other lawyers for advice concerning this amount and they both said it was incredibly high for the type of case. On the day of the pre-trial arraignment, he couldn't even remember my daughter's name, who is an important person for my defense. He didn't even ask the accuser any questions with the ammo my wife and I had supplied him. I have since gone with a public defender to handle the rest of my case. That P.I Drascovich had me hire for $1500? He never questioned a single person. My witness told me he never contacted him. He stopped responding to my texts as well. Do NOT hire this firm!

Mr. Pham, We realize that being charged with sexual abuse against a child is truly an upsetting and stressful predicament. However, posting a false review does not help your current state of affairs. We have attempted to reach out to you to address your concerns and you have not responded to our attempts. In your case, The State of Nevada vs. Billy Pham, Case #: 18-F21123X, I made a number of appearances on your behalf concerning your bail and the conditions of your release on 12/18/18, 1/14/19, and 2/13/19. While I was able to modify the conditions imposed upon you, Judge Tobiasson lamented that she had imposed an insufficient bail amount considering the 12 life sentences you are facing. I met personally with you and your “wife” on 11/26/18, 12/12/18, 2/12/19, 2/20/19, and 3/4/19 to discuss how to appropriately defend you against these charges. Prior to retaining my firm, you admitted to police that you had kissed your 9-year-old neighbor on the lips with an open mouth and that this 9-year-old girl was sexually “attracted” to you, a 40-year-old man. Nevertheless, I was able to negotiate your case to a reduced charge of coercion and a sentence of probation. After a lengthy preliminary hearing, you rejected the State’s offer of a probationary sentence, which is your right. Our firm then quoted you a trial fee of $40,000, which is reasonable considering the circumstances of your case.

The Best Damn Attorney in this Valley... PERIOD

Mr. Robert M. Draskovich -- I hired himto help me resolve a serious issue with the State of Nevada. When no other lawyer in this town knew what to do, Mr. Draskovich stepped in and took charge. We were in and out of the court room in less than 15 minutes. It was very obvious to me that both the Ju...dge and the State's attorney had the highest level of respect for him. Because of how he prepared and presented the case, the Judge ruled in favor of me. Mr. Draskovich gave me a big part of my life back - I will be forever grateful for his help. At the conclusion of the hearing, a State officer came up to me and acknowledged that I chose the right guy for the job. I could not agree more. Thank you Mr. Draskovich.

reputable eye of truth

Mr. Draskovich has definitely got his hands full. Being awarded best attorney in 2010, one can understand his thorough understanding of the law. Even though he may not be able to return calls all the time, remember that his job is the sword protecting his clients. A bit frustrating at times, Mr. Dra...skovich and team are dedicated to each case. I, for one, believe and trust what my team is doing for me. The best lawyers aren't in the office, they are battling it out during litigation and building solid instruments to curve justice toward equality and applicable to both plaintiff and defendant. The law applies to all, not just the accused. Thank you Turco & Draskovich. Your friend Archie.

Great attorney!!!!

Before I hired Bob, I was using another attorney that was not getting any progress with my case. Bob stepped in and got me out of a big jamb just like he promised. I wish I had found Bob earlier and I recommend him to everyone who needs a great criminal law attorney.

I hired this lawyer to represent me............Do your homework..........Beware

I hired, Robert M. Draskovich, for a DUI4 with SBH. This attorney made a lot of promises, but after he was paid 2,500 he never returned my calls. I went into the office and I asked him if he had defended people for the same exact charges and he assured me that he had defended many clients for the s...ame issue. I made it very clear that he needed to speak Spanish and provide and make sure he requests an interpreter in the court room. I made it very clear that he had to have constant communication with me. This attorney never returned my calls. I could not get the office to return my calls. The first court date I called the office and they gave me the wrong date and they said if it is not the correct date Robert Draskovich will call you. No calls of course. The day of court he did not request an interpreter and he did not speak Spanish. I would not recommend this attorney. This attorney had zero skills in the courtroom. Robert Draskovich stood up and started stuttering and turning red, lost his thought and ended up walking off, he walked back and instead of asking for minimum time he said well you know how to sentence judge you have been doing this for a long time. Robert did not fight, argue, negotiate at all, he was shaking and looked as if he was hung over himself. This lawyer tried to tell me he may be able to win simply because he knew all the judges and I was not sure what to think about that. I am not bitter or upset because he was defeated in court I was just astonished that he did not do anything in court and he even allowed the Prosecutors office to give evidence that was not correct. Robert Draskovich had almost 2 months to get to know the entire case and he should of known the facts. Please do not use this attorney. With first time offenses I am sure he could be of some use, but any attorney could do the same thing. If you are looking for someone who is good in the courtroom and actually returns your calls this is not the attorney for you. I called and asked questions after the court hearing and still no calls back. I finally got a hold of the receptionist and she was rude. They took my money and ran.
