Great Experience

My social security disability claim was handled very well. I really appreciated that I was escorted to every room and not just pointed to, and told I’ll be there in a minute. It showed me that Mr. Harris was taught refined manners when he was a child. I also appreciate his commercials. They are v...ery simple, and in good taste, with very little background noise, and he always shows the person in the commercials equal time, it’s not just all about him. Your candy jar is GREAT. Put some suger free Hershey’s and Reese’s products in it. Thanks.

Stay Away from Harris Law Firm

The Harris law firm optimizes every stereotype of horrible attorneys. They do not in my experience care about their image, they have a media machine insuring they have fresh new clients to squeeze dry in perpetuity so why bother to even pretend beyond the first meeting to get you to sign them up, tha...t you even matter. As far as I can tell their game plan is to ignore you till, they can't, then tell you whatever they need to get you to leave them to their other more important clients. In the end, they took every penny they could justify, the attorney not even having the decency to actually meet me in person for the final signature, instead choosing to have the clerk who had been fielding complaints finish it up and send us on our way. If you hire Harris Law Firm, you will regret it.

Minimum effort/Minimum results

I contacted and hired the Richard Harris Firm in 2016. Although I never got to meet or speak with Mr. Harris personally, I was assigned to one of the attorneys in his employ. My case took over 2 1/2 years to settle with a VIDEO of the accident on our side. There was no argument about culpability. ...The offending party readily admitted their responsibility for the accident. There was medical evidence of claimed injury. Yet, I was put on hold for months at a time and I really felt that I was ignored and left to twist in the wind. My lawyer was AWOL for much of the time up to nearly three months at a time. She claimed she had medical problems. I found out at the end of the ordeal that she had evidently been planning a wedding which no doubt took most of her time and effort. I was never told that her name had changed and did not recognize whom I was communicating with at one point. If it had not been for her paralegal, Nicole, I would never have known what the heck was going on. The topper is that now, a month after our settlement, she is now longer with Richard Harris Law. I think I know, now, why I was rushed to sign and get it done after what was an interminable amount of time waiting for some sort of resolution. This should have been a slam-dunk and finished in six months at most. No lawyer could have had more tools to work with than mine had. Security camera footage eliminated any "he said/she said." Yet, 31 months later, we settled for a minimal amount. She told me that there was no value in going before a jury and seemed to be on a very "fast forward" timetable. And, for this I had to pay Harris Law 40% of what I got. They should have waved their fee as an apology... I read reviews that this law firm was great in auto and catastrophic injury cases. I can't speak to those cases. But I was not impressed in the least at how they handled my case. I think I really received short shrift.... IMO
