I would rather be sent to Guantanimo bay, then have to deal with Ms Altschuler again. She doesn't have any social skills or manners. Janet was raised with incredible privilege. I'm not sure what went wrong with her in "finishing" school, but something didn't stick. I had no idea why she was so ...hostile until I googled her. Google Janet Altschuler, along with murder and restraining orders. She was a prosecuter that was fired for her part in withholding information, on a MURDER case. Yet, here she is, practicing law lol. Unbelievable. That explains why she is in the bottom rung of law. She is clearly a prosecuter, disguised as a public defender. If you are assigned with Ms Altschuler as your public defender, you are better off to go to the nearest brick wall and repeatedly slam your forehead into it. This will prepare you to better deal with Janet. She won't know what's going on with your case. She won't know your name. All she repeatedly says is, "what's your question "? It's like having a Chatty Cathy doll, that only knows one phrase. Condolences if you are stuck with her.

Janet Altschuler is the right attorney for the job. Janet tells you like it is. She does give you a line of bull to get you as her client. Janet excepted me as a client on a D.V. arrest charge. When it csme time to go to trial she performed like a seasoned pro who knew her way around the court room. ...Janet was well prepared for trial. She exposed the acusers for what they were, liars trying to protect there own selves. Janet did her job well and all charges were dropped. Good job Janet!!!!

I was charged with 7 different misdemeanor charges and Domestic Violence. Janet believed in me and was understanding through the whole court process. It was 6 months long and we went to trial. All my charges were dismissed and I owe it all to Janet. I was scared at first and was almost going to take ...a plea because everyone around me was telling me too. Janet advised me not too. And stated "lets take this to trial". She was right. All charges were dropped. I would highly recommend her as a lawyer and I would seek her advise and services again if I ever needed them. She was understanding, kind, intelligent and professional. I left my life and future into her hands and she gave me a better brighter future and had me in her best interest. 27 March 2017 I went to Attorney Janet Altschuler asking her if she would take my case that I was charged by the state for DV. I Presented her with the incident report and after reading it she said she could /would take my case. From the beginning to case dismissal she was there for me to answer ques...tion.
