This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Censure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State censures the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.
After being disbarred, a former attorney may apply for reinstatement. He or she must comply with all readmission requirements from the State Bar of Arizona.
Disbarment is the most serious penalty for a lawyer. If this attorney is currently practicing law, you should contact the Arizona State Bar to understand the reasons for disbarment.

I attended mediation with my ex husband. While guidelines as far as the expectations of each participant were clearly stated at the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Hersch made no effort to enforce these rules. My ex continually interrupted and talked over me, to the point where I asked if we could each speak with him alone in order that we could each present our case. While he agreed, hesitantly, to do this, he also brought us back together at the end and made the comment that, when telling a story about a separating couple, "Maybe it wasn't very nice, but she didn't want to be with him any more." I later learned that Mr. Hersch is a "father's rights" proponent. My intention was attend mediation in order to advance the rights of my children.
