This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
German’s comment: “A grievance was filed by a party (seller) to an escrow dispute in a matter in which my firm served as the escrow agent for a real estate transaction as well as representing the buyer (customary in Florida). We failed to timely deposit the escrow check. The transaction subsequently closed and the escrowed funds were properly and timely delivered at closing. Our delay in depositing the check and failing to advise the seller of the delay was improper, the admonishment was appropriate.”

I have had the honor to meet and work for Mr. Salazar and in observing his practice on a daily basis I can't help to testify the integrity and humility typical of truly great leaders. He not only taught me to be a more knowledgeable paralegal which has significantly opened wider career opportunities for me but I remember him the most for he has taught me that integrity and honesty is priceless. I do have great admiration for him and miss working with him while he was here in Florida.
Frederick Woodbridge, Commercial real estate Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
I endorse this lawyer's work. I have known German Salazar since 1984 and have always found him to be serious, extremely knowledgeable in real estate finance matters, mentally very agile, a real problem solver. Always a pleasure to work with him.
