My husband and I met with Allyson recently (April 31, 2017) to review and update our trust. She was warm and engaging, and spent an hour and a half with us reviewing our current documents. We explained to her what we were trying to accomplish and she let us know that our current trust was up-to-date and would cover all that we wanted to do. She would not except any money, calling our 1 1/2 hour session a consultation. We told her, of course, that if anything changed we would seek her expert help at that time. Like so many others we were wary of lawyers, but Allyson was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise.

Having the title of Lawyer carries a negative expectations and often the punch line to many bad jokes. Allyson will give you the opposite - her knowledge, experience and "bed side manner" are simply the best. While preparing our family Trust she not only thought of possible future outcomes, she made provisions within the Trust to protect our assets and kids from these possibilities. All the while explaining everything in 'human talk" not "lawyer (confusing) talk." I have recommended her with confidence as the BEST Trust attorney out there and will continue to do so.

Allyson is the best! She makes complicated issues easy to understand and does it with patients, care and humor. We've used Allyson in the past for other legal documents and for advice and will continue to use her and recommend her because we trust and respect her.

Allyson completed our living trust, wills, power of attorney and other estate planning documents. She is knowledgeable, thorough, patient and explained things completely. She designed the documents so they are flexible and will not require return visits for small changes. We will happily continue to recommend Allyson to our friends and anyone that needs estate planning.

Allison Shepston is an excellent lawyer and legal advisor. She helped me to evict and get a judgement against some horrible renters that squatted in my house and refused to leave. I would highly recommend her. She was courteous and professional at all times. When we got to court, the other party didn't have a chance of winning.

My wife and I desperately needed to update our estate plan. We hadn't touched our documents in so long, literally half of our kids weren't born yet. Regan might've been in the White House, actually.
Regardless, I called Allyson Shepston for help, and it was definitely the right call. She updated us on estate laws, explained our options, asked us some pertinent (sometimes scary) questions and walked us through the process of updating our trust, will and instructions - all those things you'd rather not think about, but you oughta do.
My wife and I would highly recommend Allyson Shepston. She is personable and professional. She is thorough and very easy to work with. She is an expert and translating Lawyer-to-English, and, bottom line, she's very good at her job.
Heaven forbid, if I kick the bucket tomorrow, I'll rest in peace knowing everything (legally speaking) is in order. It's also a plus that all the kids will be mentioned by name during the reading of the will!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Allyson to obtain new wills and family trust. Allyson took time to get to know us and made certain she understood all of our requirements. She is extremely knowledgeable in estate planning. We were impressed with her attention to detail. She has a "can do''
attitude and nothing was insurmountable. Allyson put us at ease through the entire process. She has our highest recommendation.

Where does one go when searching for an elder law attorney? I was lucky to have Allyson recommended to us during a very difficult and stressful time in working through my parents wills/trusts. Great attorney...and a wonderful person too!

I am a difficult customer with an extreme amount of side issues. Allyson handled every problem as it came up and treated me as if my problems were no problem for her to handle. She did work for both my adult daughter and myself. These projects included; 2 wills,2 Trusts, 2 Medical Powers of Attorney, 2 Business Power's of Attorney as well as multiple transactions re: out of State Property and Multiple Out of State Trusts. I will NEVER use another attorney unless I need someone who operates in a specialty that she doesn't handle.

Following my highly unsatisfactory experience with a mega size legal corporation Allyson Shepston was recommended by a respected business associate of mine. In my case, Ms. Shepston proved to be well grounded in her knowledge of complicated family and investment situations. She provided various options regarding Trust options, wills, special needs plans, and long range planning. Allyson explained them clearly and concisely and guided me through the decision process. At all times Allyson was professional while remaining focused on my personal needs and concerns. She also recommended other professionals (for my needs) without hesitation. In my opinion, accepting responsibility, follow through on promised action, and personal concern for a client or customer is rare in today's business climate. These unique assets are an integral part of Allyson's character. She has become a trusted advisor and friend. I sincerely value and respect her professional and personal integrity.
