I am writing this review almost a year after my charge (that I thought was going to do a year in jail) was dismissed. Armando has been very transparent and always available. I still ask him for legal advice even after my case was finished and he always helps. He will be a great ally for you and has b...een a dear friend for me.

Earlier this year I was pulled over by police and arrested for DUI. I received a personal referral to Armando Nava for representation. From the first phone call onward, Armando presented himself very professionally and compassionately. He reviewed the details of my case and very honestly put forward ...what was in my favor and what wasn't. He ultimately said that he liked my case and that he would be willing to represent me and set me up with a payment plan over 6 weeks so that I could afford the fees. I accepted the offer and was glad to have Armando on my side. In the early days of the process, I was working a contract job on an hourly basis so anything that pulled me away from working was costing me money. Armando and his team were terrific in filing all papers and continuances on time so that I didn't have to worry about anything and could focus on my job. He answered all of my questions either by phone or e-mail (and occasionally by text message) in a timely manner and never left me hanging. That was a really big comfort during those uncertain, stressful times. It was also apparent that Armando really knew his stuff -- he had the answers for every question every time and could explain anything with as much detail as was needed for the situation. Possibly because there were elements of the case that were potentially in my favor, the prosecution offered a reduced charge that would still carry lots of penalties but was much better than a full DUI. Armando was very honest in saying that though we had the potential to win the case in trial, it was not guaranteed and that if we lost, the plea would be off the table and I would be hit with the full DUI. Having no criminal history before this, the thought of losing in court and having a felony on my record was overwhelming. The thought of having a lesser mark on my record was not great either but it would be far less of a disruption in my life. Armando left the decision up to me and -- in the end -- I took the plea for the lesser charge. Armando was supportive and encouraging and reminded me that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Armando also was able to get my fine reduced by 20% with the plea, so that was also appreciated. Armando guided me through completing the plea at the Pre-Trial hearing and re-explained all of the steps that I needed to take after that. He referred me to a great facility for my mandatory post-plea drug screening and counseling -- one that worked the best for my logistics and schedule. He also sent an informational e-mail with everything we discussed so that I would have that for my reference going forward. I would have really liked to have seen Armando in action as I know he would have been great in court. I know he would have done all he could to win the case. But I just didn't want to risk a felony, jail time, bigger fines, extra insurance, an interlock ignition device and everything else that goes along with a DUI. I just wanted to have this all behind me so that I could get on with my life. I am glad for Armando and his team for getting me through this entire process and for helping to get me a reduced charge. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of representation.

I was very pleased how mr.nava was sincere, honest, and dilligent he gave me the best possible chance of winning my case and it turned out in my favor. I don't think my case would have been resolved in the same manner if he was not working on it I recommend him to anybody who needs a criminal defense... lawyer he is a great lawyer.
