misdemeanor charge for self defense

I was charged with assault after I defended myself against a individual who was a danger to themselves and others. In a misdemeanor you do not get a trial by jury, it is the judge making the decision against you. I am glad I hired Aaron Black, he was knowledgeable, honest, and fought to get me the be...st possible outcome, my ordeal lasted 1 year and 5 months and during that time he worked with me to strengthen my case and develop the best possible argument and the result was the prosecution giving us what we wanted and now I can move on with my life. On top of that the supposed victim was demanding $25000.00 in damages and through evidence gathering and more he helped get it to $1100.00... I have hired many lawyers over the years and all have been very un-pleasant but this experience was positive from beginning to end.

Iowa Client

My wife found Aaron online as we are out of state residents. Which made my case unique. Aaron had great ability in discussing my case with me. I received my extreme DUI 6 years ago and just got it all taken care of. I live in Iowa and was in Scottsdale on vacation. Aaron was great at explaining the l...aw to me. He was also able to get my jail reduced from 30 days in jail to 2 days in jail with 7 days home detention. He made sure I was able to take advantage of the new sentencing laws. Aaron was always available for questions 7 days a week. He made this process as painless as possible. He also helped me get all the required classes done. I highly recommend Aaron!!!

I would hire Aaron again!

Aaron is a terrific DUI Attorney. As bad an experience getting a DUI is, choosing Aaron to represent me was the best choice I could make. Aaron made the process very clear to me from the get go. He explained what the laws were, the minimums for my particular charge and proceeded to walk me through... the whole process, delivering the final outcomes he had presented to me as his plan up front. Aaron gave me a plan for all of the activities I had to accomplish before my sentencing, and then followed up with a checklist for me to carry out post sentencing. I appreciated Aaron's direction, counsel and work on my behalf. I would definitely hire Aaron for legal counsel again.

Excellent DUI Lawyer

Referred to us by a local judge, Aaron was the ideal attorney for our 22-year-old son who got his first DUI. He stepped us through the entire process, communicated with us and him on an ongoing basis, and was responsive, thorough and professional. He also counseled our son to complete the alcohol s...creening, classes, MADD impact panel and interlock ignition device installation before sentencing. Most importantly, through his relationships with the prosecutors, he was able to negotiate our son's case from a Super Extreme DUI to an Extreme DUI. This saved us money as well as jail time, home detention time and the duration of the interlock ignition device. We would recommend Aaron to anyone looking for a skilled DUI attorney.

Aaron Black did a wonderful job with my DUI case

I was charged with and extreme DUI. It was a terrifying incident that was made easier by having Aaron on my team. He was there whenever I had any question about anything and explained the process and the details regarding the different laws and penalties. He put in all the footwork to reduce m...y extreme DUI to the minimal DUI. Jail time was reduced from 45 days in jail to just one and some home detention. Overall he was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. If you are looking for a great lawyer for any situation like mine then Aaron Black is the lawyer you want to consult with.
