Reliably available !!

I had my first (and last) DUI recently. I contacted an attorney who I knew for other things and he referred me to Aaron Black without hesitation. He told me that this is who he would have represent him if he ever had a DUI. Aaron met me on Sunday after my DUI two nights before (and after I ha...d just got out of jail!) I was feeling very helpless and quite frankly overwhelmed. He reassured me that I was going to be okay and provided me with a large and well thought out packet of information about the process and what was coming, very helpful resources, and most importantly confidence that my life was not over. He helped me set up classes right away that were helpful for me psychologically but also were ultimately needed by court months later. He helped me manage a camera red light violation that I was unaware of that could have altered my period of suspension adversely. He was always readily available. He negotiated me down from an extreme DUI to a regular DUI, jail time was reduced from 30 days to the single day I had already spent (more than enough!!) and my interlock device was reduced from 12 months to one that can come off after 6 months. This was for a violation that was out of town!! And was for a blood alcohol of 0.19 !! Amazing !! I do not recommend a DUI for anyone. But if you find yourself in this unfortunate predicament I very strongly recommend Aaron !!

Incredible Lawyer

Aaron is a tremendous defense lawyer, I came to him shortly after being convicted of having a DUI not knowing what I was going to do, and understood that getting a lawyer would be my best decision to help me through the process. I did a little research throughout the internet and decided I would give... him a call. To my surprise, he personally answered within at least 1-2 rings and after explaining everything that happened, he helped get through the entire court process with ease. On top of that, he also got 1 additional charge dropped, and got my sentencing lowered from super extreme to just an extreme, a reduced overall fine, and we even went back into the court room to ask the judge if we could have the jail sentencing reduced to which he said yes, going from 10 days just to 2, HUGE RELIEF! I’m very grateful for the lengths that Aaron took to help me through this process, ESPECIALLY after we finished the court case, he has continued to help and ensure that all of my questions and needs are answered. If you’re reading this, you found the attorney that’s going to help you through the process easily. The communication and the timeliness are an A+! Thanks again Aaron!

Excellent Attorney!

Aaron black is sharp and highly efficient. He was very quick to reply to my e-mails, which was really reassuring. At our first meeting, I was impressed by how attentive and patient he was when I told him the injustice inflicted on me. I will always remember the fact that he took extensive notes and t...he way he did it, in part because my first divorce attorney whom I fired, did nothing comparable. The fact that the charge my soon-to-be ex pressed against me was the result of his chilling false allegations about an violent event he instigated and of his use of my nine year old daughter to conceal his violence and frame me does not make my case easy. Nor does it necessarily mean I was to be treated with justice. However, in retrospect, Aaron Black got me the deal, a pre plea diversion at a lightning speed. The reality is that within a month or so after my first meeting with Aaron in late February and my subsequent hiring of him, he got the above-noted deal. Prior to obtainment of the deal, Aaron succinctly pointed out the inconsistencies in a police report concerning my ex-to-be’s allegations and conveyed his intelligent professional opinions about the charge against me. That is to say, the charge against me does not make any sense and by implication should be dismissed without any conviction. I have already got the official order of dismissal. I believe it is his rational thinking and rich professional experiences as well as his compassion that helped me clear myself of false allegations. If you are looking for a highly capable and understanding attorney who will shield you from injustice, I strongly recommend you to work with Aaron Black!! Life becomes a lot easier and, in my opinion, will always get better with nice people around us!! Take care !

Aaron is great!

I was referred to Aaron after my first-ever citation for speeding, and he worked hard to get my court date vacated — he really listened to me and emphasized what I hoped he would emphasize in his filing to the court. I completed defensive driving school and my ticket was subsequently dismissed thanks... to Aaron's efforts. He was available when I needed to chat and was super helpful throughout this process. Can't thank him enough!

Look no further

I was arrested for a DUI and had absolutely no idea what to do, who to call, and how to react. I read review after review, ask around for some references, and was completely overwhelmed with the process - I had a few consultations and finally reached out to Aaron on a Saturday fully expecting to leav...e a message and hear back on Monday. Aaron called me back that day and spent an hour of his weekend talking me through the typical process, potential outcomes, getting familiar with my specific situation, and helping me to set expectations for how long the process would take, what his plan would be, and what my worst case situation would be. Needless to say, I was completely overwhelmed by the whole DUI situation, especially being that I am not a resident of AZ (Chicago, IL right here) and that only complicated my situation even further. Beyond preparing me for court, helping to set me up with counseling, Aaron constantly communicated with me throughout the whole process, fought for me, and was ultimately able to secure a significantly reduced charge / plea versus my original charges (Extreme DUI down to DUI in the Slightest). Aaron was fantastic throughout the entire process, and I cannot recommend him enough. He is persistent, dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable, sincere, and sympathetic. I hope and pray that once was enough, but if I were to ever be so unfortunate to find myself in this situation again, Aaron will be my first and only call.
