Relieved

I have never written a review on anything, ever. But I am compelled to write one for Mr. Aaron Black. A few months ago, I ran (drove) into some trouble. After going through the emotions of the ordeal, I began reviewing lawyers, like many of you are doing now, and came across Aaron Black. I decided to... retain him for my legal representation, and I was extremely happy I did. Mr. Black was always available when you need him and provides pertinent answers. He was able to get many of my charges dropped, and the one I plead to was the minimum. My 1 year suspension was dropped and he argued successfully reducing my hours in jail. He definitely knows his stuff. I hope this review serves you all well, as I relied heavily on reviews in my selection process. But one thing I will say, go with Aaron Black, you'll be thankful you did.

The best!

After making a bad decision to drive intoxicated, I made a good decision in hiring Aaron as my attorney. He is extremely professional and is always available to answer any questions. Any calls that were not answered immediately were returned in short order. My BAC was 2.0 and I refused the blood test... which meant an automatic 12 month revolution of my license. Aaron was able to get that suspended and my DUI dropped from a super extreme to a regular DUI saving me thousands in fines and many days of jail time. I cannot say enough about how much having Aaron there to navigate me through this very stressful time helped. If you are looking for the best, Aaron is it!

THE MAN, THE MYTH,, THE LEGEND!!!!!

What is your definition of a great attorney?? Every answer will be different.. My answer is a master of the English language. When an individual (Mr. Black) can take the English language and proselytize the prosecution. I had priors in two other states before moving to Arizona last year. My blood alc...ohol was .31, and was looking at some serious jail time. Since Maricopa county treats DUI offenders like terrorist and lock them up in tent city for copious amounts of time. I had to hire the best, the very best attorney. To keep it simple, Mr. Black had the priors dropped and I was only convicted of a super extreme D.U.I,serving only three days in jail. He returned all my phone calls no matter what time of day, and kept me very informed during the proceedings. Most attorneys of his caliber only care about themselves and how much money they can swindle out of their clients. Mr. Black is for from that, down to earth, humble, and charismatic. If i ever have a kid male or female, I will name it Aarron.

Good Attorney

Aaron had many of my charges dropped and was able to salvage a one-year loss of license down to six months due to a dui which was well aggravated! During the time of the court proceedings I was on disability and fines were hard to pay Mr. Black had extended my case many of times well over a year ...till I was financially stable enough to take care of my fines and court fees.

Criminal conviction? Stop searching and call Aaron.

Let me start by saying that Aaron is an excellent Criminal Defence Attorney. If you are in the same position I was, you're looking for Criminal Defence Attorney and you may concern is that Aaron's strength is in DUI/DWI cases. I was concerned about that as well. I thought I should probably hire an at...torney who focuses only on misdemeanor and felony criminal charges. I was wrong, and I was wise to hire Aaron. While I have no doubt whatsoever that he is an outstanding DUI attorney, I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Black for your criminal defence. I was charged with two misdemeanor offences: Class 1 Disorderly Conduct and Class 3 Criminal Nuisance. These charges were basically the result of not leaving a statement with the Scottsdale PD when pressured to do so, thus irritating them and becoming the target of their frustration when deciding who to arrest at a party that got a little noisy after hours. Due to the nature of these charges, I was convinced that the case would be dismissed long before it ever saw a bench trial, or before I was even offered a plea. I called five different lawyers, including Aaron, based on reviews from Avvo. The first thing to note is that Aaron was the only lawyer who didn't offer a terrible sales pitch about hiring only those with 20 years experience and "I used to be a prosector". Nonsense. Mr. Black was calm and reassuring, and I felt very comfortable discussing my case with him and listening to his recommendation. Aaron gave me a quote right over the phone and his prices were very competitive. By that I mean that they were exactly what I expected to pay. I was quoted with some astronomically high figures, and one so low that I wondered how the guy could afford to run a practice. Good legal advice costs money. A good legal defence costs even more money. Please, do not go cheap when you're looking for the best representation. Go cheap on your clothes if you must, or your car, but not on your future within the criminal justice system, not in this country. My case was complicated because I was awaiting an interview date for my green card and the charges I was facing could have jeopardized my future here (I am Canadian). Since I was already working with an Immigration lawyer, he consulted with him about the immigration consequences of accepting certain plea deals - very important. The prosector was difficult to work with to arrange a plea that was satisfactory to me, and Aaron never made me feel any pressure to accept a plea agreement. In fact, I had agreed, apprehensively, to accept a deal put together by him and the prosector, and backed out at the 11th hour nearly a month later with the decision that I wanted to go to trial. I was a little concerned that this would irritate him due to the extra work, but we had agreed upon a very reasonable trial rate when we started working together, and he supported my decision and began working on a strategy immediately. Being a very educated and resourceful man, I compiled my own file of evidence and strategy to win a bench trial, but there was basically nothing that I presented to him that he hadn't already thought of or discovered; I was very impressed. What impressed me the most about working with Aaron was his availability. The man never sleeps. Or, he sleeps with one eye open and the other on his cell phone. Whether I wrote him a text at midnight or mid day, he always replied right away and he always told me to pick up the phone and call if I was feeling anxious about the case or needed to ease my mind about something. He seemed to genuinely, sincerely care about the outcome. When the day came to go to trial he did an excellent job representing me and the case was dismissed. Also of note - there were lawyers coming left and right to greet him, he knows everyone in there. Hiring a lawyer who is respected by his peers and fosters good relationships with the prosectors is very important. I would hire Aaron again in an instant and I strongly recommend him!
