Excellent DUI Lawyer

Referred to us by a local judge, Aaron was the ideal attorney for our 22-year-old son who got his first DUI. He stepped us through the entire process, communicated with us and him on an ongoing basis, and was responsive, thorough and professional. He also counseled our son to complete the alcohol s...creening, classes, MADD impact panel and interlock ignition device installation before sentencing. Most importantly, through his relationships with the prosecutors, he was able to negotiate our son's case from a Super Extreme DUI to an Extreme DUI. This saved us money as well as jail time, home detention time and the duration of the interlock ignition device. We would recommend Aaron to anyone looking for a skilled DUI attorney.

Did A Great Job!

Arron got my charges reduced and reduced my jail time from 6 months to just three days. He was always available, answered all of my questions, and thoroughly explained the details and nuances of my case. I would highly recommend him for anyone facing a DUI/Extreme DUI charge. He did a great job.

Aaron Black did a wonderful job with my DUI case

I was charged with and extreme DUI. It was a terrifying incident that was made easier by having Aaron on my team. He was there whenever I had any question about anything and explained the process and the details regarding the different laws and penalties. He put in all the footwork to reduce m...y extreme DUI to the minimal DUI. Jail time was reduced from 45 days in jail to just one and some home detention. Overall he was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. If you are looking for a great lawyer for any situation like mine then Aaron Black is the lawyer you want to consult with.

Diversion no record

I had 5 charges that Aaron was able to get diversion for criminal conduct. He communicated through the whole procees with me and with the prosecutor. He did not even charge me the full amount. He explained everything and made the whole ordeal easy. He gets results and he is up front with you. He was... easy to reach whenever I had questions or concerns. He really made this a less stressful situation. I would not use anyone else.

THIS is the guy you want in your corner, *truly*. Do yourself a *tremendous* favor and call him NOW.

I can’t *possibly* say enough wonderful things about Aaron in less than 4000 characters, but I’ll try: I got a super extreme DUI, and I honestly thought my life was over. My family tried to talk me out of hiring an attorney due to the cost. I considered it, but ultimately I overruled them, THANK G...OD. I talked with two other well-recommended DUI attorneys in Phoenix before I met with Aaron. The first didn’t make me feel particularly confident. The second was misleading and underhanded. His ethics were questionable at best. I left feeling manipulated and lied to. I met with Aaron later that afternoon. I told my roommates of my experience with the previous lawyer, and one of them came with me to meet with Aaron, as a sort of reality check from someone able to be more objective; someone who *wasn’t* fragile, terrified, and vulnerable to manipulation. Aaron was genuinely friendly, down-to-earth, and as non-judgmental of a person as I’ve ever met. Over a period of 30 minutes, I gritted my teeth and described every embarrassing detail of the incident. Aaron never raised an eyebrow, never flashed a disapproving expression or uttered a judgmental word. He remained thoroughly amiable and completely unperturbed by my revelations, and his calm demeanor, friendly compassion, and unconditional acceptance put me more at ease than I had been at any time since the incident. More importantly, though, his instant grasp of the technical realities of my situation made me begin to think that I might have found my lawyer. My roommate was completely prepared to dislike this new lawyer, or, at the very least, to point out any questionable statement, logical inconsistency, or attempt at manipulation. He genuinely liked Aaron – much to his chagrin: He doesn’t like anyone. Especially lawyers. Aaron explained all of the nuances of the law that could potentially have an effect on my case. He explained how we would deal with any contingency that might arise during the process. By the time I left, I had a clear and comprehensive understanding of the situation, including the range of possible outcomes. He didn’t sugar-coat his explanations – my infraction was gravely serious, as was the potential sentence I was facing, and trying to shield me from the reality of my situation wouldn’t have done me any favors. But at no time did he try employing any sort of scare tactic or other attempt at deceptive manipulation in an effort to get me to sign a contract. There are a ton of tasks that nearly everyone who gets a DUI in Arizona needs to accomplish, many of which are incredibly confusing. It was overwhelming. Aaron explained everything I needed to do and walked me through each step, while continuing to file motions, interview witnesses, and examine evidence. I was informed every step of the way. Aaron had me complete everything I could in advance of my court date, such as completing the alcohol screening, getting my restricted license, and completing the alcohol education classes, so when I finally went in front of the judge, she could see that I was being proactive and responsible. The judge has broad discretion in many aspects of sentencing and punishment, and I’m confident that this very good impression contributed to my mercifully light sentence. In the end, Aaron did the kind of thing I imagine nearly everyone in my position prays for: He watched hours of video from the arresting officer, and within that video he found that the officer violated a procedure. It was a tiny thing, easily overlooked, and something that neither I nor anyone I’ve spoken with was aware of; a new law that had only been in effect for a year. Armed with that, he was able to get my case reduced from a super extreme DUI to a regular DUI. This saved me thousands of dollars, a year with the interlock, many days in jail, and probably my career. I do not believe it is hyperbole to say: Aaron saved my life. This is the guy you want in your corner. Call him.
