Super Extreme Dui reduced to Dui

Aaron reduced my SUPER extreme DUI, to a regular DUI. He kept me informed on the case, answered every email and text within minutes/hours. He made sure I knew what was going on, and prepared me for every step! He made the process seem like a cakewalk, I didn't have to do anything but remain available... as needed! He interviewed the cop from the arrest, found underlying issues, including the lack of evidence regarding who drew my blood, which ultimately lead to the reduction, from a Super Extreme DUI to regular DUI. He saved me over $2500, 2 days in jail, 2 weeks house arrest and 6 months with an interlock. During my 1 day of "incarceration", I learned that I was the ONLY person to reduce my DUI charge, and that was due to the diligence of Aaron. Aaron went above and beyond for me, without him, I would be in a world of hurt. He saved me, from myself. Arizona's laws for driving under the influence, are no joke. I'm full of gratitude for the work that Aaron did for me. He had a genuine sense of care, knowing that we all make mistakes. I couldn't have chosen a better attorney to represent me. I would recommend him to anyone under the same circumstances, in which I have already. Again, THANK YOU! You took something that I found impossible, and made is possible.

Highly recommended

Like many of the other reviewers, I found myself in a very difficult situation. Arrested and charged with a DUI. I knew that Aaron was highly recommended as a DUI attorney, so I called him. I met him within a day or so. I found him to be easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and realistic in his asses...sment of my case. When the lab test came back, an extreme DUI charge was added. While being charged with a DUI in Arizona is not a good position to be in, Aaron was able to negotiate a plea bargain back down to a regular DUI. He interviewed the police officer, and unfortunately we jointly concluded that we didn't have much of a chance of beating that charge, so we took what we could get. Keep in mind that he did exactly what a good attorney should do: give your client a realistic assessment of his or her case. He guided me through the process and, while between the costs and the penalties it can't be considered "painless," he made it as stress-free as possible. He had practical insights, the most important of which is that the mandatory "one-day" jail service can actually be just a few hours. He made sure that my reporting time said 8pm on a Tuesday. I was out be 4 a.m. the next morning. He has also followed up to make sure I am fulfilling all the other requirements of the sentence, including taking the classes, getting the ignition interlock device, etc. Aaron clearly communicates, he is accessible, and when he takes your case, you should know that he will handle it himself. He responds quickly to emails and texts. I know I asked the same questions many times over the few months that this process was going on. He answered them all quickly, cheerfully, and without exasperation or any suggestion that I was "bothering" him. His office is NOT an assembly line operation. His fees are reasonable and clearly explained. In my own line of work I have dealt with many, many attorneys. In Aaron's specialty, DUI defense, I can't think of anyone who could do a better job than he did. He has my highest recommendation.

Incredibly Proficient, Incredibly Human

I called three attorney's right after the DUI citation ... two things stood out: (1) He was immediately available to talk and (2) He did talk -- in 20 minutes on the first call he covered a lot of ground -- the others deferred any input until I met with them. Here are things really significant about... my experience with Aaron: (1) He is direct/frank, but there is a natural kindness/emphathy that is apparent. (2) Any, and I mean any question that I had during the process was answered almost instantaneously. When you're worried about something, getting a quick answer is the ultimate act of kindness. He was so responsive I wondered if the "man had a life"! (3) My sentence was a tough one: Super Extreme DUI and even with very little to work with, Aaron got it reduced to Extreme DUI sparing me lots of "angst" in all areas. (4) He went out of his way to help me with the scheduling of the steps in this process -- he got my suspension to start early enabling me to get back my license in time to coincide with a personal/important trip I needed to make and got the plea date and associated jail time to coincide with a time of year that makes an outdoor confinement in the desert tolerable. In summary -- there was not one "touch point" with Aaron in this process that I wasn't completely impressed with and completely appreciative for.

Aaron Black is at the very top of his game

Mr. Aaron block was referred to me directly from another attorney handling my civil case, and he immediately took charge of my criminal traffic case, in every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with his completely direct, super-professional proactive approach and strategy towards staying ahead o...f all the legal proceedings and leading the way until my criminal traffic case was completely dismissed just several short weeks later. Because Aaron made a point to be on top of everything, he made it possible for me to not even attend two (2) separate court appearances, thereby saving me the trouble of taking a day off without pay, and avoiding me cancelling my Fourth of July vacation plans with my family which would've required me to eat the large costs of my non-refundable airline tickets. He was outstanding at updating me via texts and voicemails and e-mails with every court filing and deadline he completed (all ahead of schedule) and even offered to meet with me on the weekend to discuss strategy after hours. One of Mr. Black's greatest values to me is the peace of mind he instilled in me the moment he took control of my case, as if to say, "you can go ahead and rest easy and step aside, John, "I got this"; and he certainly did own it, and follow through carefully and thoroughly and covered all his bases until completion / dismissal. To anyone reading this who wants to hand the reigns over to a true pro, this is your man, trust me ` you won't have any worries after you retain Mr. Aaron Black. He's truly the best at what he does, bottom line. Thank you so much for your excellent and timely professional work Aaron. I will continue to recommend anyone in need to you as a top choice for getting desired results. My family and I are very grateful to you for what you do at the highest level !

Great Results!

I was charged with an extreme DUI. After looking through the sea of DUI lawyers I found Aaron Black PLLC. Right off the bat I was impressed with the fact that when I would call, I spoke with him directly. I did not have to deal with unknowledgeable secretaries or associates that were not familiar wit...h my case. His ability to be available and discuss particulars of my case directly was of great help and made the whole process flow quite smoothly. Within a day of taking my case, he had contacted the courts and DMV on my behalf. One of my biggest concerns was missing work. Aaron attended my court dates on my behalf and delayed my license suspension long enough for my business partner to return to the state. For the charges I was facing, I was extremely happy with the results. My extreme DUI was dropped down to an impaired to the slightest degree. Jail time was reduced from 30 days down to 1 day in jail and 4 days of home detention. Without any violations I should be able to get my interlock out after 6 months. In addition, I saved over $1000 in fines and fees. Even after the plea bargain was accepted, he followed up with additional information and referrals to help me complete the terms of my sentencing. I recommend Aaron Black PLLC highly to anyone facing a DUI charge.
