Extremely competent and honest lawyer!

Aaron is not only incredibly fast when it comes to responding to texts or emails, but he also managed to handle my entire case almost by himself (by setting up police interviews and attending court dates on my behalf) all while I was away at college. He brought what could have been an extreme dui alo...ng with three other misdeanors related to the incident down to a reckless driving charge and an underage driving with alcohol to the slightest degree without me ever being present. As a result, I avoided all jail time and have no actual DUI on my record. He was able to work great with me and my father whom I wished to keep informed throughout the process. He never sugar coated anything and clearly laid out exactly what he would need to do to land me in the best situation, keeping me thoroughly updated through the entire process. He also answered all the questions I had on how this could affect my chances of getting into medical school and how to deal with the nursing board. If I ever had a question he was unsure about regarding the case or medical school acceptances, he would find out asap and get back to me with an answer. Getting arrested was really stressful for me and got me thinking about how stupid I was, but hiring Aaron made the process fast and easy, giving me time to worry about my studies or work. He got everything done for me and I was worry free knowing that I could trust him to get me the best possible conviction in the end.

Friendly, informative, responsive and effective!

I was charged with a DUI back in July and hired Aaron within days and I am glad I did. This was my first time in the court system and to say I was confused would be an understatement. Aaron really helped me through every step of the whole process beginning to end. He is always available to answer que...stions day or night via text or email. He was great about keeping me informed on the case, was always prepared and had the knowledge and experience to tell me exactly how this would all play out so that there were no surprises. In the end he was able to get my charges reduced and even offered to waive his trail fee if I wanted to move forward with a trial. I would highly recommend Aaron and would hire him again if I found myself in a similar situation.

Responsive and Helpful

The first thing that stood out to me about Aaron was how quick he responded to me. I contacted him on 7/3. I wasn't expecting a return call until 7/5 or 7/6 but he was able to get in touch with me on 7/4 when he was at home with family for the holiday. This was my first DUI in Arizona but my secon...d DUI (one previous in NY 2.5 years ago). Aaron told me I was looking at a possible 90-180 days if the state proved up my prior DUI from NY. Throughout the process, Aaron kept me informed with what was going on via texts, emails, and phone calls. He was able to quash a bench warrant after I failed to appear for my arraignment because the court sent the summons to the wrong address. As far as my case went, I was charged with an extreme DUI and he was able to get it reduced to a DUI. In addition, as part of my plea, the prosecutor did not recognize my prior DUI in NY. Jail time was reduced from a mandatory 120 to 0 days in jail and 3 days of house arrest! Because Aaron was able to get the prosecution to view this as a first time offense for me, it saved me around $1,000 in fines. For month's I was anticipating some jail time. When Aaron told me I would only have to serve 3 days of house arrest I was ecstatic. Overall, Aaron Black is as professional as it gets. He is personable, informed, and prepared. He stays in touch and gives you all the information you need about your case. If you are reading through AVVO reviews deciding on a defense attorney, I definitely recommend giving Aaron a call.

Best Lawyer out there!!!

A family friend that is an attorney referred me to Aaron Black. Aaron kept me informed every second throughout the case, he was always available for any questions and concerns I had as well. He answered all emails/texts at any given time. He was always prepared for court, and knew exactly what to say.... Aaron put together a a very detailed letter and sent it to the prosecutors before one of our hearings. He fought my case for me, even when he felt at one point there wasn't a lot to fight. The letter consisted of Aaron asking for reduced penalties, and fines. I had my case reduced from a DUI (that i didn't think i would get out of with all the evidence) to a reckless driving charge. I had NO jail time, no interlock and very little fines. IF you ever find yourself in a situation where you are charged for DUI, Call Aaron black!

Aaron Black earns my highest recommendation

Aaron black is by far one of the most efficient, responsive, and helpful lawyers that I have been in contact with. I am an out-of-state resident, on vacation in Arizona and got a aggravated DWI. Being from a different state I had no idea where to begin. I went on Google and did some research, and I ...went on a AVOO.com searching for DWI lawyers. I was searching by highest recommended, and there was Aaron. I called his office and within an hour I got a callback from him personally, not his office. I was never in contact with a secretary or put on hold or forwarded to answering machine, whenever I reached out him he would respond back immediately via email or telephone. I highly recommend him and because of his personal relationship that he makes with his clients. I live out of state and have never met him, he kept in contact with me and I never felt uncomfortable asking him questions, or calling. I was able to get my sentence reduced, substantially. I also was able to handle everything in my home state rather than having to fly back down to Arizona for court hearings. He took the stress out of my entire situation. Aaron was an asset to my case and I couldn't have gotten better results. I would highly recommend him to anyone not only because of his outstanding talent in law, but also the direct, professional, personal attention he makes with his clients. If I could give him 10 stars I would!
