After a recent stint in the hospital my sister and I found that my father (who had always seemed so prepared) had never had a Will or Power of Attorney drawn up in case of emergency. As he was unresponsive in the hospital for time, it caused a great deal of confusion as to how we should proceed in accordance to his wishes. It also made us realize that if the worst should ever happen we were completely unprepared

As he was unresponsive in the hospital for time, it caused a great deal of confusion as to how we should proceed in accordance to his wishes. It also made us realize that if the worst should ever happen we were completely unprepared and unaware of his wishes, as well as finances.
Luckily my father made it out, and during his recovery decided he wanted to create a Will and assign Power of Attorney in case anything ever happened again. That is when we turned to Elizabeth Westby.
Elizabeth was able to answer all of our questions and directed my father towards his best options. She was extremely accommodating, even visiting my father in the hospital so she could go over his Will page by page and throwing in some last minute adjustments. Her response time was very fast, and she always communicated whenever there was any sort of update. She helped my father feel calm and secure, and never left us feeling as though we were in the dark or unsure. Now we can rest assured that my father and his wishes will always be in very capable hands.
I was referred to Elizabeth Westby by a friend. I called Elizabeth and left mesg. She returned my call within an hour. She listened to my questions and was extremely helpful- patient- knowledgable - and kind. Made great suggestions. Saw my family within a week. Had all paperwork done and in great order. I would highly recommend her to my friends. And I will use her in the future if the need arises. I will say she was higher priced than a different attorney I had called but felt she would get the job done and quickly. HOA Settlement
Elizabeth assisted me with an issue involving damage to my home. I live in an HOA and the roots from a tree they had planted and maintained grew under my foundation causing extensive damage. Elizabeth prepared a professional and thorough settlement request to the HOA's insurance company, which resulted in them paying for all of the damage caused by the tree! I never could have done this on my own. Elizabeth was patient with all of my questions and though this is not her typical area of law, she was very knowledgeable. Elizabeth treats her clients with care and concern and she is someone you want on your side when dealing with stressful and difficult matters. I can't thank Elizabeth enough for her time, patience and expertise in getting this matter settled.

Caring, Compassionate Service
Elizabeth Westby of Westby Law was so professional in answering my questions when it came to my divorce. She was able to answer all my questions thoroughly and with the upmost compassion. Bottomline, she cared for what was best for me but also my three daughters. I will use her for Estate Planning and any other matters that may arise in the future.

Highly Recommended
We hired Elizabeth Westby, after being turned down by five other attorneys that told us we could not win a very complicated, and unusual guardianship/custody case. From our very first conversation Elizabeth listened to our story, and spoke to me in terms that I could understand. Elizabeth is very professional, and thorough. She always returned my calls, and emails in a very timely fashion. She studied, and knew my case as well, if not better than I did. She believed in what she was doing for our family, and in moments that I was losing faith in the court process, she encouraged me, and helped me get through the rough patches. Whenever possible Elizabeth did what she could to help keep costs down, without ever jeopardizing the integrity of our case. Elizabeth is very diligent, and she ultimately won our case for us. Elizabeth has given my family security, stability, and a new lease on life, and for that we will be forever grateful. Not only did I find an Amazing Attorney, I also found someone that I now call a Dear Friend.
