This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means that the attorney's misconduct in another state, or jurisdiction, also violated the rules for practicing law in Wisconsin.
Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

John Curtin represented me in a lawsuit against a Doctor for not reporting a breast cancer to my doctor so I could be treated. This happened for an extended period of time . By the time I found the lump, it was stage 3 ! I have been fighting this cancer for many years, and now it is in my bones , even eating 2 vertebrae in my neck, causing a broken neck. I am still in chemo, and will be for the rest of my life.
John was wonderful to work with , very kind, honest and professional. He won the suit , and followed the payment agreement to the letter .
