I had the misfortune of choosing Nicole for my child custody case. A little background, I have nothing more than a couple speeding tickets on my record. When my ex got married to a convicted child sex offender without letting me know anything about it happening whatsoever and subjecting my 4 year old daughter around this creep I thought I needed some good representation to get her out of this mess. This case went on for a long time and after dealing with this case for a couple years now I flew down to meet up with Nicole to go over the case this being the third time I had met her in person she starts off by asking me “So I don’t know have we ever met in person before?” I knew at that point I was fighting and even more uphill battle. She failed to bring up the fact that she was married to a sex offender in court, got in an argument with the judge and he told her to basically stop talking and the whole time kept turning to me and whispering things like “we are so f&[email protected]” anyways we lost the case. My parents were going for grandparents rights with a separate lawyer during the same trial and won everything they wanted. I’m at a loss of words and a loss of a lot of money for Nicole and just want to help anyone in the future from making this same mistake.

I hired Nicole to represent me in a child custody case. Communication was horrible.. slow to respond and didn't answer all of my questions. She was very unprepared and transferred my case to her partner right before my hearing. And they didn't present anything beneficial to my case. Basically was willing to take a loss on this one. She only created more anxiety for me. I would highly recommend finding alternate counsel.

My experience with Nicole was absolutely horrible which was a surprise as she came highly recommended. I hired Nicole yet was never represented by Nicole. I was never kept in the loop and when I requested updates or information I was given extreme attitude by her staff. The only communication they were on top of was billing. Right when my case was at a critical point Nicole dropped me unexpectedly because I voiced my opinion and concern about the lack of service. A service I was paying a considerable amount of money for. This was done one week out from the hearing forcing a very stressful search for a new lawyer. Not only did she drop me but sent a very condescending letter with an article which didn't even pertain to my situation. Fortunately I did find a great lawyer that in less than one week got the result I needed vs the eight months I spent on Nicole.

I hired Nicole Lasiter for a child custody case back in May, After I hired her i never spoke to her ever again, If I email/ called Nicole her assistant would be the one getting back me. It took her office a month to even get my case filed. I paid a significant retainer that was gone within a month. I' was very disappointment. I had to go find another attorney to hired.
