I didn’t know what to expect from hiring a lawyer. This was my first offense and I put all my faith and money into someone who seemed so indifferent to the outcome of my trail. During the process she didn’t keep me updated or try to understand my side of the story. We just met once briefly and I got ...the feeling that she looked down on me. I tried to get another lawyer but when I told her this she threw a fit over the phone and being naive, young, and scared as I was, I didn’t go through with it. I don’t feel like my case was presented fully. She made me feel like my sentence was the best she could do but now I know that’s not true. She did not try hard enough and now I’m left with a irreversible criminal history that’s deeply impacted my life. I advise you to please find someone who will work with you 100 percent and make you feel like you have a chance.
