My family is under contract with 'renters' to purchase our parents property. After six months of no payments or communication from the 'renters', I filed a complaint ProSe with the District Court. The legal docs went back and forth between us and them for several months.
The 'renters' had appa...rently ran a title search on the property and discovered a lien attached from the State. After our mother had passed away, four years prior, medicare had put a lien on the property, without any notice to our family. The 'renters' had discovered this and instead of notifying us, they simply quit paying the payments.
At this point, we had decided that things were getting too complicated to handle on our own. That is when we hired Justin Heideman. He communicated with the 'renters' attorney and things began to happen. Mr. Heideman was able to get the lien released from the State, something that should have taken up to six weeks and took only a few days, and was basically an impossible task. Because the lien was the basis of the 'renters' counterclaim, Justin got us all the back rent payments, back taxes, and a portion of his attorneys fees paid by them.
I would highly recommend Justin Heideman for any complicated legal issue. He has teeth and he makes things happen. He is very professional in his dealings and does what he says he will do, something not all attorneys do. I will definetly retain him in the future if necessary,
