I hired Clayton to represent my son. When we first meet with him he talked as if he was going to take our case and run with it. He never called before any of the court dates to say what was going to happen or what he planed to do. I had to call him each time. At first all he seemed to care about aski...ng more extension after extension to see if there would be a plea deal. There were two different hearings that he showed up late for. The second time was the pre-trial. He was 40 min late. The Judge was very angry that he was so late, then he asked for another extension and that made the Judge even madder. He was not prepared to question the witness in the pre-trial. He was making it up as he was going. He keep asking the same questions over and over and the Judge was getting even more annoyed with him. So at the end of the hearing the Prosecutor ask to amend and add two new charges. He asked Clayton if he had a response to adding the new charges and he did not even object. Do not hire Clayton if you have a serious legal matter.
