Please go through and read the negative responses to Chris. They are all right on. Chris met with me once on initial review of case. Promise all that he would do for me, as soon as I signed the papers he turned it over to another attorney that didn't do his job. Nothing he promised to do for me was done. Then 2 months later he shows up at mediation without ever talking to me. I also before mediation told the other attorney that I didn't want Chris at mediation because he had no clue what was going on. Chris is there for a quick dollar.
I found another attorney that will fight for me. When you hire an attorney, you want him to help you and be by your side. Chris is not that. When he showed up at mediation and I told him that he wasn't welcome, he got very upset calling me names so loud that it disrupted the mediator and my ex and her couple in the other room. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

I hired Chris to be my divorce lawyer. At first I have no idea where to find a good lawyer. But with the help of google search. It just showed up Chris Salcido law firm. So I chose him. I made the right decisions. He was a good lawyer and easy to talk. He would do his best in your favor at all.

Mr. Chris Salcido is an artist and genius in his own right. It was a pure pleasure speaking with him, and having him help in my case matters.
To be frank, I was in awe in the entirety of the court case as he artistically conducted a difficult hearing into what ended up being in my favor.
I DID NOT EXPECT to win, or settle. I expected at most to have some of my charges dropped.
I can't say this for everyone elses' case, as they all vary and are different, but Chris is the sole reason we won my case. The Judge was presented with evidence that as a defendant, got me shaking in my boots.
Chris, with his calm demeanor helped me see and realize we still had a strong fighting chance. Although the petitioner was given every opportunity (I'd say, even to a fault on the judges part) to give her side of the story in order to win what she thought was the correct outcome for our particular situation.
At one point, the petitioner even presented one hundred extra pages of text messages out of the blue (which from my understanding, shouldn't have been allowed to present) that she didn't have copies for, and handed them in as evidence. Chris, being the expert he is, did everything in his power of law to have this new evidence "thrown out", but the judge had still granted it in favor of the petitioner, giving her every opportunity he could for this lawyerless lady.
As we individually went through each and every paper, Chris, being the quick witted and intelligent person he is, rapidly determined what was pertinent to the case, which pages actually were in my favor, and discerned a few pages that we discovered were tampered with to look in her favor.
The amount of proof I had given Chris was, in retrospect, hardly enough to go on and he pulled that magical bunny out from his magical hat and did what he does best. Which is give you a fighting chance. Give you what you deserve.
In my particular case, the evidence was stacked against me and I came out with nothing added to my record. Nothing short of miracles preformed by my hired attorney, Chris Salcido.
If I were to give two pieces of advice for those dealing with law trouble in the St George area, it is this. Lawyer the eff up, and have that lawyer be Chris Salcido. He will do right by you, and has a endless bucket of tools and knowledge at his disposal. Truly, an artist at work. Would work with again 10/10.

I hired Chris Salcido to help with a very specific task involving my ex husband of 6 years. I was being taken back to court via my ex because his lawyer for got to put something in the divorce papers. I informed Chris I did not want to let them add the information to the divorce decree that they for got. I told him no I did not want that.
He charged me 2000 dollars for a 1/2 hour court date. Never met with me before the court date. Came to the court and didn't even know I was his client. As he talked to my ex Ed attorney right in front of me.
He wouldn't listen to me at the court house he bullied me and coarsest Ned into agreeing to everything and then some of what my ex husbands attorney wanted. I said no over and over again. Chris would verbally attack me and say over and over again why why don't you want to give thin this. I felt like he was my ex husbands attorney. I felt no support from this attorney at all. He just wanted to make a fast buck! And used me to get money with out working for it. Took advantage of my inability to stand up for myself to him. Due to being emotionally and verbally abused via my ex for 30 years. This attorney new he could verbally coarse me as his client into a negative agreement in this legal case.
Please please don't go to him. I don't want any one else to ever feel bullied and coated into setting for a legal agreement that you don't want. Please please listen to me he was lazy and didn't want to work at all. He wanted a fast buck and he got it. The guy never met me before the court date. Seriously!! He was asking my ex husbands attorney about me and about what the case was about....
2000 dollars for this attorney to go to court and agree with everything the other attorney wanted and then he through in extras!!! Serious !! You would not believe that he was the defendants attorney??

Started my divorce with Chris, then moved to another attorneys. NONE of them calls back in a timely manner. You have to email and email and maybe get an email back in over a week! Extremely poor communication from this firm. And as I read some of these reviews, I see it is a pattern for these people. Three months into this divorce with no property and no children and we're still no where. So sorry I hired them!

I called Chris initially on a weekend when I was charged with domestic violence then had a protected order served on me. From the get go Chris seemed like the expert in the field. I appreciated the fact he didn't try to over sell me on anything. He seemed straight forward and honest. I ended up hiring him, thank goodness. He represented me well and eventually everything was dismissed (it was all bogus allegations from the get go). He did a great job, I don't hesitate to say go get him on board before the other side does!

My biggest fear was losing time with my children in my divorce. I hired Chris after meeting with him and several other lawyers. I made the right choice. He fought for what was right and helped me get the custody arrangement I believed was best for our kids. Chris was good to work with, I fully recommend him to anyone looking for the best divorce and custody lawyer around.

I know Chris pretty well now that I have had to hire him for 3 different cases. I first retained Chris when I was wrapped up in a custody battle and needed a bull dog to deal with a relentless ex. Later I hired him when one of my teenage kids got into trouble with the law. Most recently I found myself neeeding his services when my ex took me back to court trying to change our decree. On all occasions Chris got the job done. He is one of the smartest attorneys out there and he has been indespensible to me and my family.

I don't want to go into too much details about my case but I want to say, he came through big time for me. I was not smart, I should have never been in the situation I found myself in. However, the police trampled all over my rights in the process. He fought every issue and the outcome was great. He treated me with dignity and I never felt judged by him. He truly was my advocate through this process. I (hopefully) will never find myself needing his services again but I will send him to every friend and family member who might need his expertise.
