Susan M. Graham is founder of Senior Edge Legal (formerly The Graham Law Office, P.A.). An authority on estate planning, elder law and VA benefits law, Ms. Graham is a widely acclaimed speaker and seminar leader in the field of estate planning. Her journey into estate planning stems from personal experience, witnessing the profound challenges faced by loved ones left without a plan. Determined to spare others emotional upheaval and potentially dire financial ramifications, she opened her law practice in 1977. Since then, she has established personal relationships with thousands of clients in an effort to optimize their estate planning and elder law requirements, including trusts, trust administration, wills, living wills, Medicaid planning and VA benefits. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients protect their assets and keep what they have worked so hard for, providing them and their loved ones with the certainty and protection they deserve.
A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Ms. Graham received her MBA with an emphasis in finance from Boston University, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho, Moscow. She has also taught college-level finance courses at Washington State University, Pullman and the University of Idaho, Moscow.
A member of the Idaho State Bar Association, Ms. Graham is admitted to practice before all the courts in the state of Idaho and the U. S. Federal Court. She is co-founder and past president of The American Association of Trust, Estate and Elder Law Attorneys (AATEELA) and Treasure Valley Estate Planning Council (TVEPC). Ms. Graham is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
