I would highly recommend Craig if you are looking for a professional, experienced, and fair Law attorney. I got into some unexpected trouble and have very little experience with the law, and because of that I was extremely overwhelmed with my situation. In doing some research I came across Atkinson... Law and contacted the office. The big questions that were bothering me most were answered within the first call. I ended up hiring Craig and worked closely with his office (Pear in particular). The entire experience from the first phone call to the final court visit was excellent. Craig explained everything to me through the entire process, all the way down to what to say at the final court visit. His receptionist Pear is phenomenal as well. If I ever find myself in another similar situation I will most definitely be going back to Craig and Pear at Atkinson Law.

I emailed Mr. Atkinson a month ago and phoned his office twice, being told by his office staff that Mr. Atkinson would be contacting me by telephone to speak with me in further detail. That was a month ago. I stopped waiting for a call after 3 days. If that is how he conducts business it is best that... he not contact me at all! Thank you Mr. Atkinson, your inability to follow through with a potential client was cause for me finding my current attorney, and I could not be more satisfied!

I first consulted with the office receptionist. She was very helpful. I then had a nice conversation with my attorney. He explained to me all the things that could happen along with what to expect. I was told what I could do to help out my position with my case. I did everything as he suggested in th...e time guidelines he set before me. As the trial date got closer I got nervous. He again explained to me what to expect. He said I had done everything I could do to help my position with my case. It would be up to the judge. Well, as it turned out he was 100 percent correct. My DUI was lowered to a "withheld judgement" for one year. I would highly recommend my attorney and his staff to anyone in the area.

I am very glad I found Craig when searching for an attorney. His website was very informative and was ultimately the deciding factor for me. He really helps explain the Idaho judicial system, and what types of outcomes one could expect when facing certain charges. I hate when lawyers blow smoke an...d give clients a disingenuous perspective and expectation, leading to false hopes and subsequent disappointment. Craig clearly spells out what he will do for you and what you can expect. May not always be what someone wants to hear, but it's honest, practical, and in my case became reality. The first thing I noticed about him was he just seemed to be a regular guy. He's not pretentious in the least and isn't trying to get clients by acting like a big shot. Personally, I can always see though that and consider it a big turn-off when I'm paying someone to perform a service. I want someone that is genuine. Craig is certainty genuine. He's young, or at least looks young, but that doesn't detract in any way from his capability as an attorney. In fact, I think it is a strong asset. He seems to have a good relationship with the prosecutors in Ada county. Very likable, easy to relate to, good with people. When you have someone negotiating a plea on your behalf, you don't want it to be someone prosecutors don't get along with. What impressed me the most about him is how he was able to switch gears instantly- from casual to someone that is all business and ready to get things done. Personally, I want both when someone is representing me. I feel a person has to be very intelligent and smart to quickly assess the needs of a situation, and meet that situation with the correct demeanor and tact. Many lawyers know the law, but are lazy and horrible with people. Some lawyers are great with people but aren't very good with the law or getting results. I was very glad to have an attorney that excelled in all areas. Would I choose Craig to represent me again? In a heartbeat and I would reccomend anyone do the same. Hopefully I will never need an attorney ever again, but I'm glad he was there when I needed help.
