I was lost at the onset of my family law case. Pitler and Associates P.C came highly recommended to me by a friend. When I initially met with Kristen she was sincere and was willing to tell me everything about my case, even the hard truths I didn't want to hear. Kristen was very professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and empathetic. Throughout the entirety of the case Kristen helped me to stay the course through the emotional and legal turmoil that ensued. I can say with absolute certainty, a more favorable outcome would never have been achieved without the foresight, talent, preparation, and commitment to the handling of my case that Pitler and Associates provided. I would recommend Kristen and Robert to anyone that requires sound, exceptional, and professional legal representation.

Kristen approached situations in a non-emotional manner, looking at the totality of the circumstances. She is able to look for additional issues that may arise and takes the time to do extensive research to make the best decison for the situation. Unfortunately many of the issues are emotionally fuled for me, she is able to help me look through a different lense to take the best approach. Kristen has been my attorney for several years, I have been very pleased with her. I would not hesitate to reccomend her to anyone needing a family attorney.

When I came to Kristen for help with custodial changes I had no idea what I was getting into. My ex had what I thought was a very aggressive attorney who did everything from dig into my background, finances and friends to my ex sending police to my house for "well baby checks" to make sure I was still there.
Knowing how clueless I was, I tried to let Kristen do her job but I did have to finally ask why she wasn't researching him like he was to me. That was an easy answer... it wasn't relevant to the case. She really wasn't trying to take my money, she really cared about her job and my kids' future! I found an attorney that was willing to explain things to me in English, would answer every call/email and never talked down to me for not knowing the laws. She knew what she was doing, and she knew what would be a waste of time and money.
During the making of the parenting plan, that I originally didn't know I should have had, she helped me figure out what to put in it and even made sure I kept sight of what was fair instead of want I wanted. I was angry at him, he hurt us all emotionally and physically. Kristen could see that and made sure I kept my composure. I've heard it before, but I'll never forget hearing her say "You catch more flies with honey".
Although I didn't get every little thing I wanted by the end of court, I do believe we won what was fair, just, and we did right by my kids. I've recommended Kristen to several of my friends for parental cases, I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but I've been thanked for recommending her by each person.
