I have dedicated myself to representing people who have been accused by the state of committing a crime. I specialize in DUI defense and Criminal Defense from misdemeanors to felonies.
I graduated magna cum laude from Regis University with degrees in both Political Science and Philosophy. From there, I attended the University of Colorado School of Law, graduating in 2000.
I started my career as a Deputy District Attorney in Arapahoe and Douglas counties. As a prosecutor, I quickly went from working on DUIs to a county court supervisor. Later, I worked in the juvenile division before being promoted to District Court, where I prosecuted all levels of felonies from simple drug charges to homicide. I tried jury trials on nearly a weekly basis and developed the trial skills needed to represent an individual against the power of the state. The District Attorney’s Office recognized me with the first ever Trial Energy Award. During this time, I also learned a great deal about how prosecutors approach cases and how and why they take tough stances or make better offers.
Before I dedicated myself to the defense of the criminally accused, I spent an additional year of handling complex civil cases on the behalf of insurance companies in both state and federal court. This time in my life taught me how to best manage my time and deal with large, complex cases for my client. However, after approximately a year, I decided that I didn’t go to law school to represent nameless corporations, but to protect individual people.
For the last six years, I have dedicated myself to representing individuals accused by the state in all criminal matters. At my previous law firm, I had the opportunity to litigate and fight thousands of DUI cases in both court and the DMV. I am happy and proud to say that my previous firm, Fife, Mangnall & Mossinghoff, P.C., was, without a doubt, one of the best DUI firms in the metro area. I also had the opportunity to focus a substantial part of my practice to focus on felony defense as well. However, the opportunity to create Mossinghoff Mangnall, P.C. was such an opportunity for me as well as my future clients, I could not resist.
I am proud to be a co-founder of Mossinghoff Mangnall, P.C. with Darin Mangnall. With our combined 22 years of trial experience, we have literally tried hundreds of jury trials. We have the experience and confidence to fight for you in court--no matter if you are charged with a felony, a DUI or any criminal matter. We are also dedicated to keeping open and honest communication lines with our clients. Contact Darin or myself now so that we can discuss your case as soon as possible; 303-502-5816 or email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
