My wife and I looked to Mr. Whitmore initially for advice on how to handle a suspected case of embezzlement from my mother-in-law. Previously my mother-in-law had used a local (small town) lawyer to handle her legal matters but my wife became suspicious of not only the lawyer's motives but also his ...general qualifications and abilities. We looked to Mr. Whitmore to "fill in the gaps". In all dealings to date Mr. Whitmore has performed in an outstanding manner exhibiting not only outstanding legal experience and knowledge but also excellent judgment and understanding of costs associated with legal options as well as likelihood of recovery of legal fees, etc. Mr. Whitmore has offered many optional paths of handling our matters which we greatly value. Mr. Whitmore has been very willing to take extra steps such as driving to a small town in Western Nebraska to attend a routine meeting. HIs attendance at the meeting provided excellent stability and kept the meeting on track and under control. Mr. Whitmore has excellent command and gains respect of all involved. We continue to look to Mr. Whitmore for advice and will for some time as this matter SLOWLY gets resolved.

Steve represented us in a complex and frustrating adverse possession case that was frankly an uphill battle given the status of Colorado law at the time.
