Amazing Lawyer

Scott Goldman is a phenomenal lawyer. Not only did he represent my case well, but he was so clearly knowledgeable and passionate about our case that he was able to put my mind at ease during one of the most distressful times of my life. I would highly recommend Goldman Law LLC to anyone going through... a custody case.

Professionalism at its Best

To whom it may concern, I retained Scott Goldman (Goldman Law LLC) just under a year ago for a personal matter. Since then he has helped me out in several matters. He is part of my professional network and my personal network. I work in the Law Enforcement / legal sector and have my own reputatio...n to protect. I would immediately recommend his services to any of my closest friends and colleagues. This kind of a recommendation is not easily earned. Scott has always been professional in and outside the courtroom. Scott has never been late to any of my appointments, in fact he has always been early. Scotts litigation fees are consistent with the market in the Denver Metro Area, trust me I did a lot of research before I retained him. Scott has always listened to my concerns, I have not always agreed with his strategy, but in the end he has always been right. Most lawyers today do not return calls or accept them outside traditional business hours. Scott has been the exception. Scott, accepted my first case on a single days notice. Several months after he was retained, on a minutes notice he responded to a scene unfolding and took care of business. Scott has made himself available on nights, weekends, and traditional business hours to address my concerns. He has always had an answer and he has always been prepared for upcoming appearances. He has also taken time away from his personal life and time with his family to deal with my concerns and issues. So with that, I recommend that you give Scott Goldman and his Law Firm partners an opportunity to help you with your concerns. Eric

Not Impressed

At the initial meeting, Scott told me my Appeal case COULD get very expensive. I placed my $3500 retainer and 3 weeks later was told I owe $4700+ on top of that, all for a 10-page Appeal. My inquiry about contempt and harassment charges were ignored, as was the opposing party motion to modify Child S...upport. I wish I would have been advised my retainer was exhausted before going exorbitantly over. I was charged even when calling to ask about my bill. I was charged for cancelling service and having Scott withdraw as my counsel. I wish I could give a more positive review, but with no payment options and immediate payment demanded, I couldn't afford to keep playing this game. Charging me astronomically without any notification while ignoring my and the opposing party requests is ludicrous. I had no idea the retainer was even exhausted. No communication. On the plus side Scott seemed knowledgeable and willing to take on my case. He was available to call nights or weekends, albeit while billing. He initially called me over a weekend offering a low retainer, and now, with a $8400+ bill for a 10-page Appeal after 3 weeks, I wonder if Scott is an "ambulance chasing" type of attorney. Or maybe this is common for these types of cases. I don't know. I'm still grieving losing custody of my son and was expecting more. Now I have unrealistic child support payments, only 21 nights a year with my son, and my son is thousands of miles away. It will cost me $1,000+ every time I wish to see my boy. And I get to pay off a huge bill from Scott, on top of all this.

First, we were not retained to handle your contempt issues or motion to modify child support - we were only retained to draft and file and appeal, which we did. Second, you admit that I told you this could be costly and it was - you omit the fact that the Court charged a fee for your transcript. In fact, we sent you regular invoices on the 15th and last day of the month via Email and you knew up front that there wasn't a payment plan. You also engaged in Email communication with the firm regarding your bill and issues within the case and now you lie and say there is no communication, which again is false. Third, your bill was about $2,500 less than what you have led the public to believe. Fourth, you were also represented by an attorney in your original case for child support and parenting time - these are not issues that we were never involved in - the appeal was a document that required research, time, and advocacy to get these issues sorted out, however, the court still has not made a decision on that document as of yet. Fifth, I take special exception to the fact that you are calling us "ambulance chasers" - that is unethical and you sought us out and retained us - we entered into a fee agreement that explained how we bill for our time and you acknowledged receipt of that as well. While I am sorry that you have financial burdens, the fact is that your review is based on issues that we were not hired for and based on your admitted upfront knowledge of costs.
