Receiving a DUI is a scary ordeal, and obtaining 2 inside of 10 years is horrendous. Douglas county is the foulest place to get a DUI and was looking at major jail time. I was falsely accused of a crime with serious consequences, was very depressed and got even more depressed and frustrated as I was interviewing attorneys to defend me. They had a broad spectrum of approaches and some were ready to head to trial immediately as it seemed they were primarily inter...ested in battles and my money rather than my best interests. I am admittedly inexperienced in dealing with defense attorneys (thankfully), but Jeff immediately assuaged any anxiety or misconceptions I held prior. It was clear from moment one that Jeff showed compassion for my situation. I left our first meeting with clarity as to exactly what he could offer ...me as my attorney and for what cost. Ultimately the plea I accepted was a little harsher than I would have liked, but thus is life.
