I work in the courts and get to see a lot of legal cases and lawyers at work. Craig Mastro deserves every accolade that I write here. There is a big difference between watching what happens to other people in court and having the justice system grind into you. Craig is a man who takes the time to ...give you the real picture of what you can accomplish and how much it will cost. His greatest strength is his willingness to work you despite the circumstances regardless whether they are financial or with more problems or charges in your case. Willingness to get back with you promptly, same day many times or one or two days depending on urgency. His flat rate for my alleged Domestic Violence (DV) case was a great comfort. Those of you who have been through a nasty divorce are very familiar with the 6 minute increment of charges from civil attorneys. To give you a summary he took my DV case which had been filed by my Ex during our super nasty divorce. On the day of trial, we presented our case in front of an all-female jury, and got a not guilty verdict in 30 minutes of jury deliberation. The ridiculousness of the charges were so clearly demonstrated by Mr. Mastro that he had the jury chuckling at his one liners of, “and the Oscar for best performance goes to (Ex)” and the DA’s even attempted to imitate his Oscar performance quote except inserting my name; the jury’s muted silence spoke volumes. Afterwards one of the juries was so impressed with his performance that she waited for us afterwards and got his information to give to a friend.
