Great Experience with Jay!

After researching and reviewing several lawyers in the Denver area, I chose to hire Jay after meeting him for a consultation. He was the most personable and straightforward about my case. This was my first DUI and first encounter with the law. My case was not a typical cut-and-dried DUI and had se...veral other factors involved. Jay was very attentive and professional throughout the entire process. When I called or e-mailed with questions I would always receive a timely response, which was comforting. In addition, Jay was very knowledgable of the process and familiar with judges/DAs in various counties. He was available every step of the way. I can tell that he genuinely cares about all of his clients and knows that we are good people who are human and make mistakes. I am very glad I chose Jay to represent me and I know that anyone who does will not regret their decision. The outcome of my case was very positive considering the circumstances. Thank you so much, Jay!

Simply the best

So you got yourself in a situation where you need an attorney. Who do you go with? If youre looking for the best legal representation, Jay should be your first choice in colorado. In my recent DUI arrest, i was charged with DUI and wreckless driving. I refused a chemical test as i was on felony defer...red judgement and i thought my life as i knew it was over. I have accepted the fact that due to this arrest, i will violate my deffered judgement and forever have a felony on my record. I even started looking for employment opportunities abroad. The DA was not willing to give me a plea that would not violate my deffered judgement so i had to go to trial. Jay kept telling me that i had a shot. The entire trial consisted of police officers testimonies as there was no physical evidence. Jay used the DMV hearing testimony along with testimony from the motions hearing to masterfully guide each police officer to answer his questions in a way that benefited the defense. Very diligently, Jay pointed out each inconsistency in police officer's reports, making sure the jury noted the very important discrepancies. He built such a convincing argument, that despite the efforts of both DA prosecutors, i was acquitted of all charges. It was such a pleasure to work with Jay. He was never more than a phone call away. He always answered all of my questions thoroughly, explained the upcoming steps of each hearing, court appearance, etc. Jay is the consummate professional. So if you need an attorney who is diligent, compassionate, professional, and will keep in touch with you during this difficult time and will explain every step of the process to you. Then Jay is the only person you need to contact. I would never recommend a different criminal defense attorney to anyone. Jay is simply the best in the business. I cannot thank him enough for helping me close a very difficult and dark chapter of my life.

Great Experience with Adrienne Teodorovic

At first I was hesitant to invest in an attorney following my first DWAI charge, as it seems from online forums that the sentences are fairly set-in-stone. However, I decided to hire the Tiftickjian Firm if only to help me navigate the process and their assistance was invaluable. Adrienne Teodorovic ...represented me throughout my case, and she was nothing short of exemplary. She kept me informed, thoroughly explained the entire process, conducted herself professionally in court, treated me with respect, and had insight into the prosecutors we were dealing with. Although my prosecutor was known to be a stickler, Adrienne pushed for the sentencing conditions I felt were most appropriate for my situation (personal therapy in lieu of Level II Alcohol Therapy) and set me up so that between my alcohol evaluation and personal statement we were able to accomplish that goal. This was a horrible mistake and huge legal burden - but she helped make it bearable, and for that I am forever grateful.

Fantastic -- definitely recommend!

My 19-year old son was arrested for DUI in July 2013. He had called the police himself because the the actual driver (an adult acquaintance who had bought him alcohol and was himself intoxicated) who was driving him home in our son's car ran off the road, got the car stuck in a ditch after midnight..., and then abandoned our son who was very drunk and sleeping in the passenger seat. He called 911 for help after he woke up. But instead of helping they promptly arrested him for DUI. The sheriff's department never believed his story from the beginning and made no attempts to verify any of the facts or contact the actual driver (in fact they did no investigation at all). We researched the available attorneys, talked to a couple, but settled on Jay Tiftickjian's firm after talking with Adrienne. Over the next year we worked closely with Adrienne and Jay. They gave us great advice, legal representation, and hope. In the end the DA refused to offer any decent plea bargain unless our son's acquaintance "came forward" to take the blame. He had since disappeared (he had a very common name) and we couldn't locate him, even with a private investigator. Plus we knew he would never admit to what he had done as he would be seriously incriminating himself. At that point we had to either accept a DWAI plea bargain or go to trial. We opted to go to trial and Jay represented our son in the Douglas County court in June 2014. During the trial it was obvious that Jay is one of the very best trial attorney's around. He has a very personable and professional delivery. He knows the law extremely well and was quick on his feet to recognize and leverage opportunities when witnesses or the DA made mistakes or had holes in their testimony or arguments. The result was "Not Guilty" on every charge except "minor in possession" (which he was definitely guilty of). Our son walked out with a $100 fine and 24 hours of community service. He never lost his license (again, thanks to the firm's representation at the DMV hearing last August), has no points on his license, and will not have a DUI or DWAI on his record. During the trial, Jay also got the DUI Per Se charge dropped, and the Reckless Driving charge reduced to Careless Driving (which he was ultimately found to be "not guilty" of). We can't recommend Jay's firm enough. If you are dealing with any alcohol-related driving offense you can't go wrong relying on his firm.
