I was originally charged with DUI with a very high BAC, careless driving, and hit-and-run. I was in some serious trouble and was facing a hefty sentence. Jay persuaded the DA to drop the careless driving and hit-and-run charges and when it came to sentencing I received the minimum punishment across the board - minimum jail time (the statute requires at least 10 days which is what I received) and got work release, minimum community service time, minimum probation, minimum education and therapy track, and my fine was half of what the judge could have imposed. I found Jay through a recommendation from another criminal defense attorney who said Jay was "the absolute best". It speaks volumes that he has that kind of reputation among other attorneys. He always responded immediately to all of my questions and kept me informed about what was happening in my case. I never had to wait for an answer which was such a relief during a stressful and scary period in my life. Prior to my court appearances he outlined a plan of things I could do to help my case and I followed his instructions. It made his job easier and paid off in spades when it came to my sentence. Jay and his team guided me through a very tough situation. I was charged with my 3rd DUI in the past 25 years. I also had two additional motor vehicle violations and the DA was threatening to charge a felony.
