My experience with the Law Office of John Buckley was comprehensive. In my initial contact with John, he was extremely thorough in garnering all the nuances of my case. His was also very patient and compassionate through the process. John's knowledge of the legal system provided me with multiple options to create the best case scenario —even when unexpected road blocks appeared in my case. After all the court appearances and juggling through the system, it was apparent his years of experience had come to my defense. I was granted an extremely favorable ruling in court from my DUI conviction. One I didn't think was even an option, but John does his homework. When a person finds themselves in this situation, there are so many things to deal with emotionally and financially. With John, worry isn't one of them. He covered every base. I'm glad I put my future in the hands of an expert, things could have been a lot different. I'm glad I didn't gamble with which attorney I chose. I'm glad I did my homework. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

Visting Colorado from Texas and got a DWI .....

John was such a blessing to me! I was visiting the great State of Colorado and unfortunately I was pulled over and arrested for a DWI. Being from Texas I knew how serious this was! My license was taken away from me and I could not drive in Colorado or in my home State of Texas or any other State for that matter! This was a nightmare to me and I could not possibly work as a Sales Executive in Texas without a drivers license! I was so worried and my whole life was upside down from this incident! As my court date arrived, I flew to Denver and John meet me at the courthouse, on my first and only court appearance, John was able to convince the D.A. to drop the charges from a DWI to a DWAI and only pay a small fine! I paid the fine and was now in a position to retain my license in Texas, and not go through Probation and community services which would have been mandatory in Texas even though it happened in Colorado. All in one day my upside down life was back on track, thanks to John! After leaving the court John drove me into Denver so I could catch my flight back to Texas. I am so thankful and I highly recommend his services!

I have always served my community and attempted to help those in need. Prior to law school, I worked as a paramedic in many different settings including various rescue and teaching positions as well as serving on a SWAT team in Texas. These
experiences provided me with many unique opportunities that I have used to my
clients' benefit.

During law school, I worked in the District Attorney's office as well as a major civil litigation firm. These positions further developed my litigation skills. Since being admitted to the Colorado Bar, I have dedicated my practice to defending persons charged by the government with various offenses including DUI and traffic offenses, misdemeanors and felonies.

The power of the government, via the police and District Attorney, is almost limitless. Only the criminal defense attorney can provide a check to this power. It is my hope to provide that check on behalf of my clients.

Attorney rating

John Buckley took on my son's case of 'Voting Twice,' a misdemeanor. John Buckley was able to get my son's guilty plea withdrawn. His work on the case was beyone my expectations. I look forward to dealing with him in the future and have full confidence in his legal work.

"Easiest case" was not so easy

When I was able to get a hold of John he was attentive otherwise I did not hear from him. It really made me feel like my case was nowhere near a priority... I hired John at the end of 2016 through the first half of 2017 for a DWAI (refusal) case. I presented the paperwork and discovery/video evidence and information and he called it the "easiest case" he had ever come across. After several court appearances, discussion, and deliberation, I/we decided to go to trial. Fair to say John had a strong start but ultimately got played by the DA. I felt there was so much more that could have been done. Ultimately made me feel helpless, hopeless, and full of regret for not hiring another lawyer for 1k more. You truly get what you pay for.
