I can sum up my view of Michelle through my past and continuing legal experience with her in two words; care and trust. I truly believe Michelle cares about my daughter and me and is personally vested in our outcome. She was present with my daughter during two very stressful supervised visits that my daughter had with her mother. Michelle handled the visits professionally but also gave strength and support to my child to get through those visits. Michelle was always accessible, listened and told me the truth during my ordeal. Since I really believe she cares it has made it easier to trust her advice, strategies and to know that she isn’t lying to me or trying to take advantage of me financially. The main case she has helped me with was basically an international custody case. I hired and dealt with many lawyers on two continents during this ordeal, had many bad experiences and a lot of trust was broken until I met and worked with Michelle. I have worked with Michelle for almost a year and it has been great. She has handled a Federal and a State Family Court case and we have had victory in both. She’s smart, knows how to deal with people and lives in the truth; but most of all she cares and is trustworthy. I will continue to use her for any and all legal needs I have. From my experiences a good lawyer is hard to find so now that I have found one I’ll stick with her.

Michelle is great! She worked so hard on the case and knew everything precisely. She was able to provide accurate and up-to-date information. She listened to what I had to say and gave me her professional opionion when I was not sure. She never gave up and found the necessary information to prove the case and win it! She trully is a hard working soldier, great lawyer, and wonderful person.

Mrs. Ortiz is extremely knowledgeable and competent in immigration law. We worked together on a case to resolve a critical immigration need for my client involving his family here in the United States. Mrs. Ortiz is a tiresless advocate for clients who is not afraid to put in the hard work it takes to handle a case well.
