This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This is the most serious penalty for a lawyer. If this attorney is currently practicing law, you should contact the Colorado Supreme Court to understand the reasons for this disbarment.
Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Jared is in the process of having his license suspended or being barred from practicing law in the future. According the representative at the Supreme Court that I spoke to when filing my complaint, they have enough complaints to write a book for failing to advise clients of court dates, failing to attend court dates on behalf of his clients resulting in warrants issued for the arrest of his clients like myself, and refusing to return retainer money in the thousands in my case, and is being reprimanded for failing to return phone calls, emails, text messages to his clients. All of these things are in the complaint I filed, and as I stated the representative I spoke to when filing my complaint told me they have received so many complaints they could write a book on them. Jareds excuse is he is under going problems that need extended treatment. Returning retainer fees or advising clients of court dates should have no effect on whatever issues he is seeking treatment for. He also referred me to an attorney named Zach Westerfield who he claimed was his mentor, and who would be contacting me, and I found out why he was a mentor, as he failed to attend a meeting with me as well, or return phone calls and emails. All of the things I stated can be reviewed by contacting the Colorado Supreme Court after they hand down there punishment, which will be very shortly.

First off, let me say how blessed and lucky I am to have found Attorney Jared Adams through Avvo! As several others have reiterated in their own reviews, Mr. Adams is very knowledgable within the Colorado DUI arena. This was unfortunately my second DUI and I was looking at some pretty rough penalties for my mistake. Fortunately, though, Mr. Adams knew pretty much what to do from the get-go. He was able to ask questions in my case that I would have never thought about, and thusly was able to get IMO, a good offer from the Arapahoe County DAs office instead of having to take it to trial. In all seriousness I am beyond pleased with my representation that Jared Adams has provided me in my case. I believe that he worked very hard on my case and the end result completely shows what a stellar lawyer he really is. Also, having two kids --- money was a factor for me in my decision to hire a lawyer. I felt like Mr. Adams's fees were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other lawyers I had met with before deciding to hire him. I am happy to provide some insight and hopefully save whoever is reading this some time. -Thanx Shannon ;)

Jared Adams is hands down one of the most professional and earnest attorneys I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He was very upfront with me regarding some issues in my case, which I appreciated. I met with some other attorneys before deciding to hire Jared, and am happy that I trusted my gut on this one. For me personally, hiring an attorney was probably the biggest decision I have had to face in my life as of now, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Jared.
Jared Adams had very good about keeping me informed regarding what was going on in my case. He seemed pretty busy with trials and court hearings, but always seemed to take the time out to email or text me what I needed to know. He prepared me for when I needed to talk with the district attorneys, and did a fantastic job fighting for me and my rights.
In the end, I am happy with the results of my case. Jared laid out a very straightforward road map of how my case was going to go. Looking back, pretty much everything that he said was going to happen, did happen in almost the same timeline. He even nailed it with the offers that we were probably going to receive. I think that Jared is a very knowledgable lawyer who truly understands the DUI laws in Colorado, and would recommend him for any DUI or DWAI issue. Additionally, he is one of the few lawyers that I met with, who I thought had excellent communication skills, which was very important to me. I wanted a lawyer who I could talk to and not feel like I was just another client or number to them.
If you have found yourself facing a DUI, I totally recommend him for your needs! If you read this, thank you again Jared for your hard work in my case. I appreciate it.
