Kerry Simpson has been an associate attorney for Pickard & Ross since 2005 . Ms. Simpson practices in the areas of family law, criminal law, dependency and neglect, adoption and general civil litigation. From 1999 through 2001, Ms. Simpson was a Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorneys Office where she prosecuted felonies .
Ms. Simpson is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the First Judicial District Bar Association, where she has served as a board member and committee chairs of both the membership and Continuing Legal Education committees. Ms. Simpson is also a member of the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Association, and has acted as court-appointed respondent parent counsel in Dependency and Neglect cases in Denver Juvenile Court. Ms. Simpson volunteers for the Family Tree Women in Crisis law clinic. Ms. Simpson has presented on the issue of Therapeutic Privilege in Dependency and Neglect cases.
Ms. Simpson received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and her law degree from the University of Arizona. Ms. Simpson is married with one adult stepdaughter and two school aged children. Ms. Simpson enjoys volunteering, reading, and camping.
