About me

Attorney Cajardo R. Lindsey, is a passionate advocate for justice who is dedicated to making sure his clients’ voices are heard.  Mr. Lindsey brings to The Kaudy Law Firm his depth of courtroom trial experience (over 75 trials taken to verdict) as well as his versatility and commitment to excellence.

Mr. Lindsey started his legal career practicing insurance defense before being hired by the Denver District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor.  During his eight years there, he worked his way up to Senior Deputy District Attorney and gained victories in numerous cases, ranging from first degree murder to assaults to DUIs.  In fact, Mr. Lindsey was selected to be cross-deputized as a Special U.S. Attorney for the Front Range Drug Task Force, working alongside The Drug Enforcement Administration agents and nearly a dozen Colorado law enforcement departments.

Rounding out his experience as a prosecutor, Mr. Lindsey also worked as a City Attorney for the City of Denver.   Throughout his entire service as a public prosecutor, Mr. Lindsey gained the respect of his colleagues, the courts, and even opposing counsel for his masterful oratory skills, deft negotiation and, most notably, his integrity.

Mr. Lindsey graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration before earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.   It was through his connections there that Mr. Lindsey was selected to clerk for the British Inns of Court in London, England and later as a labor relations counsel law clerk for the National Football League Management Council in New York City.

Being just as comfortable on stage as he is in the courtroom, Mr. Lindsey has acted in numerous productions for theater, television and film.  In fact, The Colorado Theater Guild has awarded Mr. Lindsey its top award of Best Actor in Colorado.   Mr. Lindsey also volunteers his time to mentor and encourage youngsters, especially those deemed to be at-risk.

Above all, Mr. Lindsey is committed to providing a voice for what he believes is right. Therefore, he fervently works on behalf of his clients to make sure that their stories are heard and justice is served.
