I hired ruben ortiz about a year ago, a day before my court day because i was being charged with a dwi and possession of marijuana. He took my case last minute, and told me that there s never a guarantee that the cases will get dismissed, especially when i blew over .15 on the breath machine and the ...marijuana was in the car, and that he would into every possible technicality to try to get the cases dismissed for me. He told me to be patient because it was going to take some time. He was always polite, professional, and always on time. It s been over a year now and like the great lawyer he is, he got my two cases dismissed on the day on Trial because of a technicality, like he told me he was going to look into. It took a long time but he faught till the last court to get the dismissed.

I was arrested for a DWI, over 2 years ago. I was with three(3) so called friends of mine over two years ago with out my knowledge they were carrying 58 pounds of marijuana. I bonded out and talked to my so called friends so they would admit to the truth and that is that I did not know the drugs were in the car. He said to me that an innocent person should never plead guilty under any circumstances and that an innocent person must fight their case all the way to the end. I liked what he had to say to me and I decided to hire Mr. Ortiz to replace the other Attorney. Mr. Ortiz charged me only $3,500.00 to handle my case and he even gave me a payment plan. He filed a bunch of paperwork on my behalf to try and get the case dismissed for me. We went to many court dates and I met with Mr. Ortiz many many times at his office to talk about my case. After 11/2 years he was able to get my case dismissed. By the way my other three(3) so called friends all plead guilty and they NEVER helped me by telling the truth that I did not know anything about the drugs. I personally saw Mr. Ortiz argue the law and case in court and I can tell you that he knows what he is doing and in my opinion he will always be the BEST attorney in my eyes.
