Aida Hernandez - Asylum Applicant

I first hired Mr. Felipe Millan after being detained at the International Port of Entry bridge of the Americas in El Paso, TX, for seeking Political Asylum and taken to the ICE Detention Center for being a victim of crime in my own country. Since Mr. Millan's first visit to the detention center for ...my first interview, I noticed his interest in helping me get out of the situation I was in. After several denials of release from the detention center, Mr. Millan was able to convince the Immigration Judge to release me. It has been seven years since my release and my biggest fear was to go back to my country, however Mr. Millan has always found a way to help me stay in the U.S. He processed my Employment Authorization, which was first denied but after Mr. Millan's persistence, I finally received approval to work in the United Stated. Being a single mother of three U.S. Citizens, it is very important for me to be employed. Mr. Millan recently requested Prosecutorial Discretion on my case, and on July 30th, 2015 Administrative Closure was granted. I could not be happier, and thankful for Mr. Millan. Felipe D.J. Millan is by far the best Immigration Lawyer there is. Not only is he an amazing Attorney but also a caring human being who takes his client's cases very seriously and to a personal level, which makes me as a client feel safe and confident that whatever decision he takes for me would definitively be the best one for me and my family.

On task, swift and professional.

I would highly recommend this man and his law firm. Courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. The only reason why i did not give the 5 stars is because we did have a small situation returning calls. Is was probably my controlling side that wanted to know every aspect of what was happening, reg...ardless they did performed flawlessly. Once on the phone they answered all my questions with out hesitation... there was only one time that I managed to stump his assistant, but it was handle quickly, with a call from Mr. Millan. Would i recommend him? I already did, so yes i would recommend him. I did appreciate the heads up on time frames and what to expect.

Tired of waiting

I have been a client of Mr. Millan for a few years now. He told me my case would be resolved in 6 to 9 months. Now over four years later I am still waiting. I paid him in full. It took him 3 years to get the first motion in court and he filed the wrong one. As of now I don't know what to do he's alre...ady been paid so it looks like I have to wait it out. USCIS says that I have nothing pending so hopefully something good will come of this, tired of wasting money on attorneys that don't do what they say!
